Unable to locate the data folder in steam.

I just recently re-installed shogun 2 but i had to do it via steam and i do not have the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\total war shogun 2\data folder to add mods. Is there a way to work around this?

Look harder. If you can start the game, it's there.
Maybe you installed Steam at a different location?
