Sign Of A Great Mod - I'm Back Again!

just wanted to say hi

it was 2 or 3 years ago when i last played this mod (v7)

have just installed v8 and am looking forward to a new campaign.

the sign of a great mod is that it keeps pulling you back, even after years, despite all the progressions in graphics with the newer games etc.

there is only one other modded game that can compete with this - silent hunter 3 + mods is also an all time great.

will post soon and let you guys know how my campaign is going!!

Same here, I'm revisiting after a lengthy break and loving this one so far...

Has there been some AI tweaking? Last night I set up a custom battle for a quick try-out ... 2 legionary units and one cav, vs 3 units of Brit tribesmen of some kind or other...
"Should be easy" I thought, expecting the Brits to charge headfirst into my legionaries. Lolol my poor Romans were quickly flanked, surrounded, and cut to pieces... Great stuff :-) I don't remember anything like that ever happening in vanilla...

Excellent mod, very good looking but also looks like being extremely playable and entertaining too...
