Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error SS 6.3

Hi, fisrt time with SS, i installed 6.3 guided by this thread http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=513953

But i have the ''Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit'' when i launch the exe. So i need help.

Was your UAC disabled during installaton?
Did you use Setup, try again using right click, run as admin.

I disable the UAC before installing MTW2 and Kingdoms, and yes, i ran the SS setup as an admin.

No, is possibly tha the error is caused by the location of my MTW folder?

I had to install my game in D:\Games\SEGA\Medieval II Total War due to C:\ being full.

MTW and SS must be installed in the same drive

Mmm i will reinstall everything to see if it works, it looks like for some reason the installation of the mod miss many files.

In my SS 6.3 it CTD random in campaign

the only thing that i change was made a copy of the export_descr_buildings change the law stuff then replace it with the one on the data

Its either a bad install or your amendment has skewed things, please can you post your error log

When the game errors it produces a system log, found in MTW2/Mods/SS6.3 folder

It says its missing alot of stuff.
ps i downloaded the torrent version use the patch.

It sounds like a bad install, please re-install with your UAC disabled

I have windows 8 i can just put it to never notify right?

If you have WIN8 do not bother to try to disable UAC, install SS6.3 outside of Program Files, select SS exe, right click and run as admin
