    Default Proposal - Historical Scots

The Scots in MEII have such ridiculously ahistorical units it really puts me off playing as them, fighting them or generally going anywhere near them. Woad warpaint centuries after the Britons/Picts have stopped using it (the Gaels never used it) combined with kilts centuries before they began wearing them just makes me facepalm. That bastard Mel Gibson has got a lot to answer for, and not just his anti-semitism.

As such I was wondering if someone would make a proper roster for the Scots as this fine nation deserves more than this rough treatment. I am perfectly happy to perform some document digging if required. If there is already such a mod then I apologise in advance (though I did search to no avail) and would be much obliged to be pointed in its direction.

    Spot the real William Wallace...

Fun fact! "Braveheart" was actually the nickname of Robert the Bruce, not William Wallace. And here is a rather amusing article about the historical inaccuracy of Braveheart. Pretty much the only thing they got right was that he had a massive sword and killed lots of Englishmen.

    Hi!
Check this mod, War of the West! I think it has historical accurate rosters!

Thanks for link! +Rep. They've got a nice looking roster there, and not just for Scotland.
