Revolving around the health and well-being of all onboard, sickbay is a key part of the ship's operations. The domain of the Chief Medical Officer, it is a place of true efficiency and is usually ready for any emergency. Any crew member can be summoned or held in sickbay at the Chief Medical Officer's request

Sarvok enter the sickbay. He immediately starts looking for a proper uniform. After putting one on, he turns off the emergency hologram to see if it's working properly.

A chirp of the computer signaled the formation of the EMH Mark V. Several holographic emitters installed throughout the sickbay focused beams of energy to create solid surfaces. A relatively tall, exactly 6' human male figure appeared. Unlike previous EMH versions, this one showed stubble as if he had not shaved in the morning. A curious addition to the Mark V. The EMH made one quick blink and then scanned the room with its eyes.



Upon seeing Sarvok, the EMH spoke for the first time aboard the USS Indefatigable.

"Activation successful. All programs and subroutines functioning normally. Sarvok, Chief Medical Officer. How may I assist you?"

As Sarvok manipulates the hologram controls, Grissom enters Sickbay on his tour of the ship.

"Ah, Dr. Sarvok is it? I'm introducing myself to the crew. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Grissom chuckles to himself as he remembers he's speaking to a Vulcan.

"Don't fret, Doc. There's no medical emergency. I'm simply satisfied that this ship has a skilled and competent doctor. You're going to be our first line of defense against the myriad of viruses and chemicals we'll be exposing ourselves to on our journey."

IC: The EMH stood still for a bit with a bit of a questioning look on his face, looking at the Chief Medical Officer.

"I'm a doctor, not an autobiographer. Have you read my program history?"

The Mark V's voice was a curious mix of Irish with a touch of German accent. Fairly low in tone and gravelly, it spoke with a certain gravitas. The Mark V's head tilted back and forth as it walked around, seeming to take a short tour of the sick bay.

"I am the Emergency Medical Hologram Mark V, assistant to you, Chief Medical Officer Sarvok. According to my programs history, I am an improvement on the Mark IV in almost every way, programmed with approximately 7 million possible treatments from the collective information of 3,000 medical references and the experience of over 80 individual medical officers. I am also supplemented with contingency programs and adaptive programs to learn while serving as a supplement of a normal medical staff in cases of emergency. My memory is exactly 67 million gigaquads. A specialization of mine is the Unknown Xeno-Medical Program that allows for the me to be more capable of treating undiscovered alien species more appropriately. I am also installed with a mobile holographic emitter that allows him to go outside of sickbay.

I should also mention my experimental capability to be integrated with the ship's main computer. Is that an adequate profile?"

The EMH stood there, looking almost as if it was happy with itself.

[Raglan]

Malic stands to one side, waiting for someone to see him.

The Vulcan notices the man."What seems to be the issue?"

Just checking in with the head doctor. I was a doctor in my last life, and still licensed.

Blanc to Lieutenant Sorvack, there has been an accident in the Captain's quarters. Please come immediately as more people seem to be falling ill. Blanc out.

Feeling rather out of sorts; Markus managed to drag himself down to the sickbay, refusing any offers to carry him down there since the whole crew were feeling it. Rather drowsily, he pressed the intercom buzzer, hoping someone was there to patch him in and perhaps give him some advice to try and work off the resulting headache.

Medical Staff-NPC The nurse was feeling dizzy as well. And what was up with all these thoughts concerning her father? It had been so long since he left her... "Please lie down, the doctor will be here any minute now." She then prepares a small dose of hydrocortilene to stop the headache.

Sarvok administers 10cc of cortropine. "This will alleviate some of the symptoms".
