Menu screenshots are black!

I have a strange problem since i installed W7 x64 Ultimate.
I have all my games in D disk and not C inorder to have better access and avoid problems.
The strange problem is that when i play mods i can not take a screenshot via PrtScn button and later
use Drawing or Photoshop to add it and save it as picture.
In game shots (in battle and on strat_map )are saved in TGAs folder when i press PrtScn buttonand later i can use Photoshop to work on them.
But i can not have screenshots from the menus or the loading screens.
They do not ven saved in TGAs folder.
What can i do to have screenshots from the mods menus and loading screens?
I tried also Howies Quick Screen capture 1.1.1.
I there that i must do in windows section to allow me full access of screenshots in the game?
This is what i get with PrtScr button and also with Howies Quick Screen capture 1.1.1 when i am on the battle menus (army units choice) or in the loading screens.

What factors should i change in C:/ inorder to menu pics to look like ingame ones (i mean visible?)??

Which pic is from the .tgas folder?

Have you designated another place for them to be stored?

All ingame screenshots (on strat_map like the one above or in battle ones) are stored in the TGAs folder inside the game folder.
D:/Games/Medieval II Total War/TGAs
When i had W XP i could take a screenshot pressing PrtScn button, open Drawing or open Photoshop and paste the image. Like the one you see bellow.

Then i could save it...
Now If i press PrtScn button with or without Howies Quick Screen capture 1.1.1 activated and open drawing or photoshop what i paste is a total black screen ,the same happens with Howies Quick Screen capture 1.1.1...
In TGAs folder nothing apears...

I am beginig to think that they take the DOS window screenshot but there are no letters in the screenshot...
EDIT: I closed the Dos window and now what i get is picture of my desktop!

Here is where I set mine.

I never could get the copy/paste combo to work for me into MSPaint.

Instead of c:\ i have desktop but what i get is the black picture you see in my 1st post.
Whem i load a mod for example i have two mini windows opened.
The Dos and the game's one.
If i close the dos' window when i press the screenshot button what i get i a picture of my desktop and NOT a picture of my mod's (any mod's) menu picture...

Is there a hiden folder that can be edited to allow full access to screenshots in C:/?
And if there is how can unhide it?

None that I'm aware of. Sorry.

If you have the game through Steam, it maybe in their cloud someplace, too. I know the Warscape ones end up there.

Do you have AA on? I remember that if you had it on in RTW your screenshots would all come out black.

This is a pic out of my mod, saved in the tgas folder in .tga format, converted to jpg in PaintDotNet, and uploaded for proof that it does work with AA enabled.

Oh, yeah, I do have the black copy in my default C: drive, too.

Right click on the .exe and in properties\compatibility mode just check the Disable desktop composition option and disable visual themes if that alone doesn't do it. Worth a shot i guess, otherwise fraps will do the trick for you.

You mean the .exe of the game?
Where can i find FRAPS?
Should i change the compatibility with W7 instead of W XP sp3?

Now i have a security problem with my mods (all of them) sortcuts!
I folllowed Ishan's advice of disable some issues from the properties and now the UAC does not recognise the kingdoms .exe (it says unknown) and asks me everytime i press a shortcut!
Before i had instandly start of each mod.
What must i do to avoid that?

Edit: Igoore please. problem seemed that solved.
