    Great mod guys! Never thought I'd see flying magic carpets or undead horsemen/horses in RTW. My only complaint, if any, would be that battles are too fast. As a player you don't even get to enjoy watching the units let alone plan effective strategies. Kind of the remnant of vanilla I despise.

    But very well done, factions are fantastic even though I don't know much about the Warhammer universe (I know Warcraft was inspired by it)

    Hey, I did as instructed and copied the file to my Rome TW folder and copied the shortcut to desktop. however every time I try to open in it a window pops up saying Rome has stopped working. Do any of you know how to fix this issue?? Very new to modding games...

    McWinsauce: Try adding the note "-show_err" to the end of the command line in the shortcut, then it should give an error message that you can post here so I can see what's wrong

    Which version of the mod are you using? Savegames should work fine if you're using the A Call To Arms version of the mod with a properly patched RTW 1.5. Is this a problem you're having with all factions?

    Hey guys, congratulations with the release of 1.0!! The first time i started the game and looked at map i was like WOW.... ING.... AWESOME. Only... I am having problemsm with loading saved games. I really wanted too post my campaign on the forum. But i couldn't load the saves anymore. I made saves every turn and tried using diffrent factions but i got a ctd everytime loading my saved games. I really like this mod but, i can't play a decent campaign without saved games.

    Nevermind fixed the problem i just deleted all the older saves and set Autosave too FALSE.

    I played a bit the campaign with a few different factions and i actually can't find a difference between this version and the previous one :still no garrisons,couldn't find any new units or buildings.I congratulate you for the release though and by no means i mean to be rude - keep up the good work and hopefully soon we can play a fully finished mod.

    For anyone who's having savegame problems, turning autosaves off seems to help, so do try that!

    Extreme: There are several new units/buildings (particularly on Dragon Island roster, if I remember correctly), more factions have proper generals, and there are less bugs too which has been the main change. I may get round to garrisons in a nearby patch, I've got a lot of exams coming up though so I can't promise anything being swift from hereonin.

    I have to say that I was very eager for the new release and luckily as was as good as I hoped. Although the "Unit-Pics" aren't all ready yet it's absolutely worth playing. Worst thing is that I'm rarely able to load savegames, most times I get a CTD. Thats quite unnerving, especially for a long time game such as RTW and Mods.

    No CTDs for me, works perfectly.
    I want to congratulate the autors of "WHTW" and "Orks vs Humans". You give me hours and hours of great fun! I am playing with Altdorf and currently ripping off the treacherous bastards of Middenheim and Bretonia. Hope the Dwarves will stay true to our Alliance.
    Thanks again and please don't waste time with Narnia but finish this little jewelry.

    I'm working on a few little things to get the campaign more playable. I've changed the starting diplomacy and am working on adding starting units to all cities. Next I'll try to add appropriate buildings and population to them, and then maybe rebalance unit costs to something a little more to my taste (such as increasing unit recruit costs to avoid a black hole of debt). Are these being done already (and, if so, will they be released soon) or can I contribute the changes when I have them done?

    Some are being done already. The most useful thing would be doing the starting units in cities, I've been working on buildings and diplomacy myself though those are incomplete so the more you fancy doing the merrier really. I don't know about releases in that I have no concrete plans, but if you could contribute some of those text editing bits we'd be a very long way towards a release and I'd try and get myself working on finishing some other bits off; the full beastman and skaven unit rosters could be released along with your stuff.

    PM me on here or, preferably, the Exilian where the mod lives and we can discuss it further if that'd be useful - I'm away most of next week, though.
