My Campaign:

Faction: Rome - Brutii
Difficulty: H/VH
Mod: None

I started with my economy and army, making little armies to deal with the rebels. I moved a small army to take a rebel settlement with success. I set a watchtower up to keep an eye on the Greeks, luckily I did as they was moving an army my way. Although they were no threat (for now) I went straight to building an army and strengthening my borders. Setting 2 forts down to secure my settlement I watched over the Greeks before pouncing on their settlement nearest to me (Not sure of the name) and successfully raided them!

Vanilla RTW:
-----Gaul: VH/VH: pretty much stalled... I'm trying to leave the romans alive, so that i can go crazy against their advanced units late game. I'm taking out spain right now, but having to defend against incredible stacks from britannia, germania, and the romans with smaller numbers, so its going rather slowly.
-----Thrace: VH/VH: is getting very boring. Falxmen stack is rushing macedon, backed by several generals, and nearly every other settlement i control is having to battlemap a def seige against scythia, dacia, or macedon. Getting rather repetetive.
-----Numidia: M/M: Succession Game: Fantastically. Our economy is godlike. Even with numidian units, victory is a garuntee.
-----Pontus: VH/VH: I am probably going to stop playing this campaign... i survived the initial difficult stage, and now i have access to competant phalanx units, and scythed chariots. No longer is there any challenge to this campaign.
-----Scythia: Am probably going to abandon this campaign for the same reason as pontus... No challenge with horse archers. Not even at the beginning. And it gets boring... having to battlemap every single battle.

RTRVII: Illyroi: VH/VH: Still pretty early, and my economy + crazy prices of units/buildings means i'm moving VEEEEERRRRYYYY slowly. Relying heavily on general units in the field, and sallying with skimishers to defend until my economy can grow. The romans started a war with me...so i'm mildly worried about losing to them... I don't have a very large military yet...

PI: I started out with 90% of the map. Played a couple turns, but going to abandon campaign. DEFINITELY no challenge.'

SS: VH/VH: Byzantine: Well, for the early stage. Have conquered all of greece, and most of the islands. Am expanding steadily to the north/northwest, and have an invasion fleet heading for sicily.

M2TW: Russia: VH/VH: Game is almost done (or did i finish this campaign already...?). Have so many fronts, and so much money it's all kind of blurred together. Am relying heavily on dismounted dvor, and auto resolving most battles because i have ridiculous numbers of troops migrating from my heartlands to the frontlands, and the campaign is garunteed to end in my favour.

Americas: VH/VH: Apache: Started a warpath down south first turn. Now have to defend against the counter-strikes from the other nations.

Shogun 2:
-----Hattori: H/H: Keep getting my ass handed to me... This time, trying a turtle-strategy, trying to "up" my capital as much as possible, and the first city i captured, while defending against the ikko-ikki, the Oda, the Imagawa, the souther-white/blue guys whose name i've forgotten, while trying to maintain an uneasy alliance with my direct-western neighbors.
-----Uesuga: Very well. Realm divide just ocurred a bit ago due to the expansion of a new vassal. Am defending against the west while trying to completely consolidate my grip on the east, so that i will only have to focus my campaigning on a single front. Am upping my city-size on the western border, while a full stack of naginata monks, and archers sack date lands, anda full cav stack (mixed) whipes out the last of the oda, and i build up my fleet, so that i can hold on to every trade node.

TATW 2.0: VH/VH: Eriador: Well. Have killed gundabad, am busy killing moria, and will have to abandon this campaign so i can update to TATW 3.1

FATW: Dunlending: VH/VH: busy conquering rohan, but am not a huge fan of the mod, so not playing much. Spamming orcish archers, and have access to light pikes. Defending the bridges with my life, while i build up my military.

TTW: Ithica: VH/VH: Just capturing my last few settlements to victory. Had to exterminate most of my populations around the southern greece area, after one revolted, and the rest started to rebel. Have a hard time holding parts of the turkish shore... But have two more fleets crossing the sea.

Vannila : New carthage campaign , not a single turn passed , i'm thinking on my strategy. I plan on taking all of africa until i reach Lepcis magna , i want a border between me and egypt , and then getting iberia , then finally drive the scipii out of sicily. After that , i don't know. I hated that carthage had no archers , so i put archers for them . One standard archer , and an elite one , called Poeni Archers , made by Andalus. Also i'have made some tweaks to the Iberian Infantry to match the Hastati. I still don't know how to give the ibrian infantry a pilla ! :|

MOD: DTW(DIADOCHI TOTAL WAR) - Roman republic campaign , conquered all of itally and now i'm struggling against carthage and the greeks for sicily. I hate that when i besiege a greek settlement , even if it has 2-3 unit as garrisons , the next turn they got like a full stack of classical hoplites in the garrison !

EDIT : PROGRESS IN MY CARTHAGINIAN CAMPAIGN VANILLA

I have conquered messana from the scipii , my economy is pretty good and now this is the decisive battle , where i will take control of sicily , and i will rule it with the greeks (if they don't backstab me )




My army consits of 4 iberian infatry , 1 numidian cavalry , 2 injured round shield cavalry , 1 slingers , 1 elephants and Hanno and his bodyguard
Greeks : some injured hoplites , 2 full units of milita hoplites , 1 archrs , 1 peltast , 2 generals
Brutii : 7 Hastati , 1 general , 1 equites , 1 velites.

I hope i'll win it :d !

XGM:

Playing as Rome, 237 BC, M/M (first try of mod). Unifying Italy and Sicily went smoothly, I let Greeks and roman rebels expend their armies against me, then took all their italian and sicilian towns in one go. Carthaginians decided to attack me, bad idea. I've taken Lilybaeum and their mediterran islands, and now, two full armies+full stack of reinforcements and police troops landed near Carthage. Beware...

Meanwhile, I've taken Cisalpine Gaul areas from Gaul rebels, they've been too much annoyance. Alliance (for now) with Gauls and Macedonians maintain peace along my north border. I'm still in pre-Marian era, taking it slow.

My Progress: (No screen shots yet)
After a short war with the Greeks I noticed their settlements are now being occupied by the Macedonian's. I prepared myself and spent a long time building up a few armies to take down their settlements at once. Time passed and I had 3 stacks and decided to hit Sparta and the surrounding settlements. With success, the Macedonian's offered a ceasefire that I accepted. I then made 2 more stacks that took quite a long time. I attacked 2 more of their settlements and successfully took! I must say, I only JUST got one of them for some incredibly strange reason... But I got it nonetheless. I was getting ready to attack the Egyptians to give myself a challenge, when they attacked my naval army. They lost, I shipped a stack of units across and attacked a unit next to their castle, they both came out to fight, I won leaving myself a nice victory and a castle to take with it!

All is good so far and I already have plans for my next campaign!

@Alexanderos: Thats just a tip, but don´t have more than 50.000 denarii at the same time - or your generals will pick up bad traits, like "Financially Irregular".

You can stack your building queues to prevent having more than 50.000 denarii, or gift it to other factions, or bribe ...m

Otherwise, nice campaign, tough I would suggest attacking the greek cities or tricking the romans into tacking the city - by placing a peasant unit next to the city, and letting a roman army land in sicily. It will attack your peasant unit, the greeks will sally out to help you, the romans annihilate the greeks and take the city.

Then you can take Syracuse from the weakened Romans quite easy.

I will try the denarii thing , but it will be kinda hard since when i conquer all of africa i will be flowing money and that naval trade is awesome.

As for the tricky tricky with the romans , i will try it , but they will likely send a big army , mostly hastatis an some equites and i am trying to raise an army in messana to attack something.. i am still thinking about my strategy. I'll post some other screenies soon

My campaign is a Vanilla M/M Julii blitz campaign.
Like 20 turns in at most (haven't touched it for a few days) and already have wiped out Spain, one settlement away from wiping out Gual and almost 16 settlements with a treasury between 50 and 70k, with a very large military force that I pay for every turn.

STARTED A NEW ONE!

Faction - Briton.
Difficulty - H/VH.
Mods - None.

Put all my settlements to a very high tax state. Moved my army to Ireland and took Tara. Boosted the tax state to very high and started building roads and farms in each settlement I owned. Built up an army (small) and moved it to Condate Redonum. After successfully taking Condate Redonum I started to build another army to take Lemonum. Taking it successfully was fun!

(Started yesterday)
Faction: Armenia
Game: RTW/Total Realism Mod
I started with two cities which game good amount of money and I upgraded them. Then formed an army to conquer the rebel town of Kotais. (371 men(with my faction leader)) and the rebels had (497 men) in the city. So they were under siege and then comes another army of rebels with (681 men). The strength ration was about 3:1 so I withdrew from battle and my general moved to the other side of that city and so the rebels attacked me. It was kind of sad that my leader was going to die in his first battle. So I used my archers to kill of their spearman then their cavalry killed my archers... I used my spearman to stop their spearman from attacking my general and I would charge from behind with my kataphraktoi. It worked and they were routing really early and I had my general kill them while they ran from the battlefield. Then their other spearman took my killed off my spearmans and started routing... I had my kataphraktoi chase their missile cavalry and they wasted all their arrows lol. So they were now useless. I decided to sacrifice my spearman and attacked their general by surprise with my kataphraktoi and killed him... one of their army started routing and I chased them with my kataphraktoi and left almost no survivors. But there was still one group of spearman pursuing my general so I had my kataphraktoi attack from behind like this...

They attacked my General and I charged with kataphraktoi and killed them off... Battle lasted 36 minutes.
Best battle in my whole life.

Then I captured Kotais and enslaved their people
Then the Samartians(scythians) asked for an alliance.
Same with the Pontus.
After a few turns building up an army to take over Trapezus(rebels)
the Parthians asked for an alliance and then they attacked the Seleucid empire so my alliance I had with the Seleucid (by default) broke and we became neutral. After two or three turns I took over Trapezus and enslaved them. Then a small army of Seleucid marched into my territory (my capital and so I attacked them before they attacked and killed their whole army. Then I attacked one of their family members who was right outside of one of my cities but he escaped.(killed his bodyguards 4 times but he always escaped until I sent one of my new generals and killed him (gained 2 stars)) I formed a big army to take over both Albania and Phraaspa from rebels. I captured Albania and made a port to trade with the Parthians. I had one of my diplomats talk with the Ptolemaic (egyptians) and the (Batrians) to form alliances to kill wipe of the Seleucid from the map. Then The Seleucid and the Pontus became allies and they blockaded my ports but I had a good navy so I killed them and marched a small army in Trapezus to their lands and attacked their army in Pharnacia but the next turn they formed an alliance with the Parthains so I had to move back to my lands. Then my faction leader died peacefully and so my new leader was the one conquering new lands(like a boss) I captured Phraaspa and two of the Seleucid family members marched into my lands and killed them LOL. What I am planning to do next is march into Seleucid lands with my large experienced army and take over Epiphania, Pauravas, Susa and Gerrha. Cutting the Seleucid into half and let the Parthians and Bactrians take care of the eastern part of the Seleucid while Ptolemaic and I take care of the western part.

In Barbarian Invasion (Vanilla):
Saxons: My capital has a very bad economy, and my two other camps are barely alive. The camp to the Southwest is now conquered. I attempt a campaign against the celts, and lose. I then make a large fleet and army and head to the middle east (it took me 23 turns before I got a city) and conquered a large Eastern Roman Town. I destroy the town, it revolts, and I move my army to take the minor city in the Berber's lands. City revolts, Capital revolts, and my last settlement revolts. I lose the game.
Sassanid Empire: This game has been going on the longest, and all I do is struggle since the Eastern Roman Empire has taken half of the former Western Roman Empire's lands, and has no enemies and most factions its allies, so I'm their only enemy and am losing troops rapidly.
Slightly Modified descr_strat:
I am playing as the Celts, and have begun conquest of the Spanish Peninsula. The Western Roman Empire is falling, and so are the Huns and Vandals. The Eastern Roman Empire is almost done conquering The Sassanid Empire (I could tell since the Sassanids were losing territories as the Eastern Roman Empire gained territories).
I am playing as the Western Roman Rebels. The rebellion gets stopped after 3 turns.
I am playing as the Romano-British. It fails since I don't start out with a settlement when they emerge.

First time playing XGM and pretty new to RTW in general, picked it up in the Steam Christmas sale, what a bargain.

Playing as Germania, started by expanding out my borders rapidly, taking all the nearby rebel settlements until I was touching borders with the Gauls, Scythia and the Romans. They all promptly declared war on me and, years later, have not been at peace with me for longer than a single turn. I struggled hard early because the German lands are all poor and I couldn't sustain fighting stacks from 3 factions. I had to slowly cede 7 or so settlements in the south-east while taking Britannia, which gave me the moolah. Camodulum was making like $10-12k/turn and basically supporting my whole empire haha.

Once I took the Gallic capital they became a pretty minor threat. Fought my way through Gaul to Massillia so that I could go for the jugular and attack Rome by sea. After some hectic fighting and numerous exterminations, the Romans were pushed out of Italy and are now also a pretty minor threat. Cathage attacked Syracuse, so I had to stomp them a bit to let them know their place. Meanwhile, I managed to hold the Scythians at my original capital, an area they've been perma-sieging since the start and I can't really make a single offensive manoeuver.

While this was going on, the Seleucids were on perma beast-mode and crushed Egypt / Baktria / Armenia / most of Pontus. Thrace wiped the floor with Macedonia and Greece and I kept my borders far enough away that for their next target they decided to have a crack at the Seleucids.. which hasn't really worked haha. So to help a lad out, I bribed Seleucia (I have like +$2.5 mil), who then waged war with me. So then I figured I might as well invade Anatolia through Rhodes if I'm at war with them anyway. Unfortunately the infrastructure isn't really there yet, so I've been spamming Rhodian slingers like they're hot cause they're the only thing that really dents the awesome phalangites the Seleucids put out in huge force. And hiring every single mercenary I can get my hands on, haha.

Would prefer to be better prepared for war with the Seleucids given their huge military but I couldn't really wait, otherwise Thrace would be the strong power to divert some of the huge stacks.

Progress. Part 2

Armenia
Rome Total War/Total Realism

I was going to take Epiphania but the Seleucid were on guard and sent a whole army to protect the city.
Two turns later the Seleucid asked for a ceasefire and because I am such a wise peaceful man (yeah right) I accepted. Finally the Pontus asked for an alliance and I accepted. Since I already have the Seleucid trust I decided to infiltrate Epiphania and slowly destroy it with my awesome assassin. I sabotaged 3 buildings before the Parthians besieged the city with an army with a filled banner.

On the other side of the map, Numidia had only one town left with 3 large Carthaginian armies marching into their lands.

The Parthians failed to take the city and ended up with a small force (lol)
Seleucids also lost a lot of men and Epiphania was vulnerable to attacks...
I sent a large army and take the city.
I also sent a diplomat and a spy to check out the Parthian cities and I found out there were two cities left and not well garrisoned. I immediately boarded a ship and two turns later I besiege the Parthian capital (Chakdara) and it was now mine. Epiphania ended up vulnerable to attacks. Only 1 garrison and the Bactrians betrayed me! The Ptolemaic(egyptians) join the Bactrians. I sent a diplomat to Seleucid lands and ceasefire+alliance, and they accepted. I'm going to continue this on Monday because I won't be at home on weekend. I am going to take the Parthian capital, and then focus on taking the small rebel villages to the north-east

on another note:
Carthagenians were in Italy but the Romans drove them out.
