I have played as the English and the Danes in the long campaign but now I am completely stuck on who to play as.
Any suggestions?![]()

Anything particular you're looking for? You can play as the Byzantines, Russians or any of the Muslim factions for a different experience. Italians, Iberians and other Northern Europeans are good too but I've felt they're all kinda similar in gameplay.

In Soviet Russia you want Uncle Sam.
Well I would prefer a faction that has probably the worst starting position but has a great economy.
I like the sound of Egypt although I'll hate it when a crusade comes.

Venice, I always had nice campaigns with Venice and another one that I liked is Hungary
Ok im stuck between Vanice and Egypt...
HRE is catholic and has a hard starting position. Your neighbours will just gangbang you.

Egypt is not a Catholic faction so!
Now you know my friend, if you have other questions please don't hesitate to ask old members or Staff they will be glad to help you out. As for the topic what kind of game would you like your next campaign to be: Slow with lots of diplomacy, War oriented?? Is there units you porefer to use? If so which ones?
Slow with lots of diplomacy is me really.... I hate being the a***** of the game.
I have one question and it may seem very nooby.......how do I make a signature? I've spent 10 minutes scavenging around trying to find it.![]()
Ok
1- You need to play the game on Medium Difficulty for the campaign and Very Hard for battles
I could also suggest some mods that are very good diplomatic games, but that is your call.
2- To make a signature you need to go on your profile, on your profile you should see Customize profile option, that is where you will be able to change whatever you want to change.
3- This could also help you regarding M2TW: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=406671
They use the same thing as the Vanilla (original game), The only one that may cause problems to older PC's is Third Age because of all the amount of troops you can have in one battle. Still I need to verufy if that can also be changed to smaller unit groups, I dont know as I never bothered to look as my PC can run it.![]()
Egypt is quite fun imo. I love to defend against the Catholic's and in Vanilla it isn't too hard (for me at least) and even if it is it is still very fun to defend against.
Egypt is slow and nice. You have no neighbors to dispute over rebel regions. You will should have free reign until a Crusade starts or until Mongols/Timurids arrive.
You go to My Account and edit your signature.
I agree with Sturm here the thing is the are similar to the Danes, they have a good starting position, the OP wants to have a faction with annother type fo starting postision which Venice or Hungary for example would be better. also to note the OP wants a Catholic faction. If not we could also suggest the Turks and as said previously Egypt.
