Fall of the Samurai Crashes
Hello all,
I just downloaded FotS yesterday and am running into a rather frustrating problem. The game has a tendency to crash, this is especially so when a battle finishes and it tries to load back into the previous screen, be it campaign or custom battle. I downloaded it through steam and verified the cache, defragmented the cache files, and ran all the benchmark tests. Currently the game is running in Dx11. If it helps, I've run Napoleon, Empire, and a bunch of other games fine. I've attached my DxDiag file but don't know how to get to the gfx.logs.txt file, I'm not sure what the pathway means (user/username...) I'd appreciate any help that you all could give me, from what I've seen the game looks great.

Re: Fall of the Samurai Crashes
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=238484 will help.
Game Booster will help.
Installing the 64bit version of Win will help use those 8gb. Right now, it's capped at 3.2gb.
The 296.10 drivers at www.nvidia.com may help.
Updating the High Definition Audio codecs at www.realtek.com.tw may help.

Thanks Irishron! It worked for a bit but now the game freezes up or the screen goes black when I'm loading a battle.

There are programs like MSI Afterburner, PC Wizard, HW Monitor, Speedfan, and more.
