I voted HM...but we had one of these not long ago (infact I started it)...in the end it turned into a rap bashing contest...
Could have done with more options mind....since I dont like Hip-Hop, but I'm not a huge metal head either...prefer something a bit more...tuneful. Or something

Heavy Metal, as Hip-hop is terrible. That said, I'm not as big a metal fan as I used to be, but I still appreciate certain bands.

HipHop by far. I'm not much of a Metal fan. I think some metal is good, but a lot of it is complete rubbish. I agree to people who say a lot of rap is complete rubbish too, but to me, the best HipHop is better than the best Metal

I don't know why people who listen to Heavy Metal hate Hip Hop. It seems to be a rivalry that has no point.
Hip Hop, I like. HM, not so much. But I don't hate it, some is good - RAGE being an example (if its HM) -

hmmm, though I would prefer heavy metal (which actually I don't even like that much, I prefer other rock...see sig*) over hip hop, there is definitely some rap out there that I like
