    Default Removing unit from group

How do you make a generic unit, that is available to everyone, faction specific? e.g. make it so Yari Kochi are only available to Chosu? What I'm trying to work around is the fact that Yari Kochi is part of the military grouping for boshin, so every clan in FOTS has access to it. By the way, this is just an example to illustrate my question

Remove it from units_to_groupings_military_permissions and add it to units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions Short answer, because I'm in a hurry!

Thanks for the reply mate only problem is, to remove it from units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables i'd need to remove it from the patch files, how can i do it all in the mod file? Because to my understanding, when you make a mod pack, you need to have the unit's Unit ID in the table, deleting it would have no changes because it would still be in the patch.pack, so I tried having the units in that table and having the military group set to blank, still no result

In units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions set True to those that use the unit, and False to those that doesn't.

its easier to clone the yari kachi and give them to yourself in units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions.
other than that no one else would be able to build them. its a much cleaner approach than removing a unit from the game and give it to you. besides you will learn alot about modding the warscape engine doin it this way

Yes, I agree, but it also take a bit more time if it's your first time. Once you've done it, it's like riding a bike though.
