Armenia Generals?

Holy Crap! What are those armenian generals on!?! i had an entire parthian army of horse archers against their small armenian force. i wasted the majority of my arrows on their three general's units and not one died! i thought to my self "well their body guard seems to be made up of the same units as mine so ill attack general to general but as soon as i did, my unit was wiped clean! routed after two seconds and lost 39 men, the entire army was lost and i still dont know what happened!?! why are they so tough?

But there was like 16 units of horse archers all trained on the generals body guard, they used up most of their ammo on these guys and not one died!

I noticed that in general in BI, the generals are practically invincible, and it completely ruins the game imo, thats one reason why i stopped playing it.

Obviously, not something normal. Their stats are similar, so sometimes I imagine flukes happen. Also...you weren't shooting entirely from the front...were you?

Bah, you should see those Pontic beasts (especially Mithridates in the early game).

Even after my only worthwhile army destroyed the last force Pontus could raise against me, Mithridates came as a reenforcement and slaughtered some 400 Eastern Infantry and some 200 horse archers. My generals barely escaped alive

no i attacked from the front at first, then swung my flanks round their sides like i always do.
