Netflix

So I just re-subscribed, and I use Netflix mostly for streaming. Its been really great to have and I love it, but if I have one complaint it is that their TV series list seems to be massively behind the times. Weeds, for example, is either two or three seasons ahead of what is currently available. I've searched online but I can't find any information regarding the timeline for Netflix to get newer seasons available for streaming. Does anyone have any info on that? Thanks!

They prob dont have the rights to air the newer seasons. Thats just how it is.

Im considering unsubscribing and honestly the only thing stopping me is the hassle of mailing back the DVD's I need to find. Their streaming service has kind of taken a nose dive imho. It used to be every tuesday there was at least one movie or even an entire series in the recently added area that interested me.

Now though? It looks like they added a new season of Weeds just barely which is the first thing I've been excited about in weeks. Other than that though, in the past month they've added TED talks (which are already online at like 3 other websites for free) and Grizzly Man which I've already seen. Everything else is just pure bottom shelf b-movie crap, web series & kid shows. While they're failing to add new content thats worth while they're also pulling content thats at the same level like every season of Dexter. I didnt really care about the price hikes, particularly as I expected to see a serious increase in the quality of their service. But instead it's gotten dramatically worse.

Is the films section on there any good im not really that interested in the tv series?

to be honest I found the movies section lacking...they have a lot of choices just nothing that jumped out at me. They are good about updating new releases but my main complaint is that most of them aren't available for streaming...
