With the recent polls showing the rapid decline of Minister Wolf's popularity among the Wizarding Community and many calling for his resignation, the Wizengamot has called for a meeting to decide the fate of the Minister's term. Many within the Ministry have lost faith in their Minister's inactive streak and demand for a more aggressive and proactive replacement for Cornelius Wolf. The various heads of the department and officers were called to meet here. The Minister and those of his cabinet are forbidden to even enter these rooms as this is a private meeting under the watch of the Wizengamot, who were exercising their emergency powers along with the cooperation of various members of the Magical Law Enforcement. This is called due to the ineffective response to the recent Death Eater attacks and the disappearance of William Huntingdon

Viktor Sverre enters the meeting room and takes his seat. The Daily Prophet was booming with accusations against the Minister...no thanks to Rita Skeeter. It was indeed a nuisance to control and contain. Moments later, the representative of Department of Magical Games and Sports, Edward Sparrow entered and took his seat while they both waited for the rest of authorized members to arrive.

Percival enters the room. He greets Sverre and many other people before taking his seat.

Viktor turns to Percival.

Glad to see that you could make, Percival. Congratulation on your promotion to Head of the Aurors. Before the others arrive, I want your personal opinion. Do you think that due the recent action so the Minister, he should removed from power and a replacement found?

Shocking business indeed. Rita Skeeter is overfilling with glee.
I agree with you, but like to hear some explanation from the minister himself. I wonder what he is up to.

Sadly...Rita isn't far from the truth. We have had a string of effective Death Eater attacks without any captures or leads on who is behind the attacks. It seems to me that the Minister's policies are ineffective. Its a great concern to the Wizarding Community in Great Britain.

I would think of this as that the Minister is rather busy doing something else than worry about other petty mortals. He must have some task, comparing which death eaters and muggles and disappearances are mere trifles.

I believe we will need one more representative and we can start. Congratulations on your promotion, Gellert. Before we begin...I must ask your opinion on the whole situation of the Minister's inactivity. And the same with you Frederick, please...enlighten me with what you think on the situation. Do you two agree that the Minister should be removed or not?

Gellert was extremely tired and stressed, he had just wanted to fight Dark wizard and he had never wanted to become Head of the Department for Magical Law Enforcement. However he was forced to step up with the sudden disappearance of William and now it was this entire mess.

"Well we need powerful and attentive leadership in times like this, especially seeing the increase in death eaters activity and the extremely serious matter that the Department of Mysteries have been raided. So unless he starts doing his job as soon as possible I will support the removal of the Minister.

Viktor sighs and rubs his face slightly.

Many are demanding his removal. And with four months of inactivity...it has hurt us, greatly. We stil have sporadic, but devastating Death Eater raids. Which is hurting your department by far. No captures or anything to help us find out who is behind the attacks...and with the recent break in at the Department of Mysteries, I believe that is enough to show the ineffective policies of the Minister. I see that he is beyond the point of trying to fix things...with someone being able to break into the Ministry, especially the Department of Mysteries and get away unharmed, is enough to put people in an even greater outrage. Thankfully, Rita Skeeter hasn't found out about the break-in...or the situation would be more sticky.

We will need an aggressive Minister as well...one who can not only rally support, but be active enough to initiate policies to counter the growing Death Eater threat. A strong and proactive Minister will a great help to counter the growing threat.

"That may very well be true, however the debacle to appoint a new minister may hurt us even more."

Gellert then turns to Percival.

"We need a man that is active and can rally support with the people, since right now we need all the support we can get against the death eaters."

Interesting... So, would you prefer a Fudge, or Scrimegour, or a Thickness?

A Rufus Scrimgeour...Fudge tried to hide the truth in paranoia, while Pius Thicknesse was under the Imperius Curse and a puppet of the Death Eaters. Scrimegour had the ability and record to be a capable and proactive Minister. He had the personality and the traits to be an "Iron-fisted" Minister, but one who only used this personality to keep the Ministry strong and united against the Death Eater thread.

The doorman got permission to open the door from a Wizengamot official. Cromwell was let inside to the meeting room. Viktor stands up at the sight of the Auror.

Gellert nodded in agreement with Victor when a doorman approached asking if to let Edward in, Gellert went and opened the door for him.

"What is it you have on your mind Auror?"

With Edward still wincing from the pain of the other night, the slight smile he raised was extremely uncomfortable.

"Thank you for seeing me, gentlemen. There is grave news which I felt I had to share with you all immediately."

Removing his journal from his jacket front pocket he opened it and began to speak,

"Yesterday evening while on patrol with Auror Muggridge, he was attacked and killed with an unforgivable curse from who i thought was a death eater. I tried to give chase and came across a witnessing wizard who after some coaxing revealed where the man had gone. When I got to the address he had told me, I watched through a window and saw 3 death eaters meet the murderer, he was a pawn in their game and had taken 3 wands, murdered 3 wizards. I attempted to halt this by surprising the death eaters but while I incapacitated them, the other 2 were too much for me and together they blinded me. Before they released me, they told me to tell you that the Minister would not be able to defeat them, and that our days were numbered. They then apparated away. When I spoke to the earlier witness, he told me the murderer's name was Peter Turstin, a 'mudblood' . I only found out the names of two of the death eaters, Nero and Lydia. They have normal wizards on their sides, things have escalated."

Edward finally straightened up and put his journal away,



"I would like orders please. I shall not rest till I find who did this."
