Nabatea is one of the factions I wished for, so am really happy that it made it. The preview itself is very good source of information and the ammount of work that was put into it is really stunning (and I think uncomparable with other mods).
Other parts of the preview I found slightly disappointing. I waited for half a year to get a preview with more than a wall of text. There is no map to see the position of the factions and only a couple of units. I wonder what is the problem? Seems like either EB is really short on modeling and skinning capabilities or it just shows only a tiny portion of its work (I mean, TGC released around 4 faction previews in the same time, though with less academic descriptions). Twitter posts help this a bit though, but all of my friends who used to play EBI have completely forgotten the project because of the slow pace.
Anyway, keep up the good work, I am not losing faith that one day I will play this mod

    There is a map...!?

And of course we made more than 6 units since the last preview. There are probably even units from before that we didn't show. But those will be featured in new previews. We don't want to run out on units to showcase, otherwise the later previews with only history and mechancis would be too boring for you... Also if you looked good enough you could even see two more units in the preview that aren't preview already.

"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

    Very nice preview!!
But these aren't all of the unist the two factions can recruit, right? They will have a bit more variety..?
Also looking these units are quite lightly equiped compared to some other factions, like hellenic factions, carthagians, romans and even celts. Will this make them a bit less effective in battle?Since they are "desert people" will they fight better in the desert to make a difference?

These are a mere fraction of the total of units planned. There are several more for the first release and hopefully the final release will count a total of about 30 units for Arabia alone (at least that's what I've planned). Both factions will have some ten to twelve core units and there'll be some very interesting regionals as well.

I think the other (regional) Arabian units will feature in a later update.

I'm still confused as to how you even pronounce Sb' w-gwm. The closest i've come is Saba-ugum, is that even close?

Didn't know that a new preview had been released. There were more then 30 people viewing the EB II forum as I entered, which was good to see in and of itself. A lot of people are anxious for this mod. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Bon travail! Dis-les que les chameaux auront seulement un guerrier sur le dos. Mon français n'est plus bien, comme tu vois. Alors, mes excuses pour pas répondre a l'autre forum.

I loved the saba in EB1. I played the hell out of them, despite the fact that their units were somewhat weak. (I mean, their archer spearmen were awesome, but once you start expanding towards the AS or the P`s the lack of armor would hurt.)

Now, this is just awesome. I`m looking forward to them.
