If I ever run for anything it will be openly sponsored. You have my word. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's called transparency.

So if you ran for the house of representatives and you took money from a corporation that was not located in your district or state how would you be helping the people who voted for you?

Again if you were a Senator and you took money from a corporation that may or may not be based in your state how exactly are you helping the people of your state if your interests are related to the corporation?

Because Corporations pay people, buy stuff, and make products. At least indirectly it's going to help my constituents if not directly. I'd also take money from Private companies and small businesses. I'm not biased towards any entity. Do people really think I'm going to govern to the benefit of the people who voted for me over the people who voted against me? I govern everyone for everyone.

Alternately Enemy of the State, he would be unable to fit all the small businesses that sponsor him. Probably corporations too.

Stupid poor people. If only everyone could be like a corporation then at least the problems we have would look nicer - perhaps with a brand logo for the failures and the winners: "Sorry, Africa. Meritocracy rules!"

Enlighten me how corporations "shaded" South American history.

I'm not sure how a business run by a group of elected officials who cater to the goals of the people who buy a stake in the operation is bad.

You're a communist fan boy right? Isn't a Communist State a corporation that has the legal authority to imprison or kill its employee-stockholders?

After all, Communism isn't about real people, it's about abstract idea of "the workers."

It's illegal, only American citizens and immigrants with green cards can contribute to U.S. federal, state or local politics. I don't what the penalty would be , either a slap on the wrist or hung up by your thumbs. The loophole would be a company in the US with a foreign parent company (i.e. Anhuaser-Busch owned by InBev of Belgium) could create a PAC and collect donations from American employees. Course they could do the money shuffle and try to hide and overseas donation.

BTW Col. You sound like the mouthpiece for the Camber of Commerce.

I think it's a non profit. Being that its a lobby for representing the interests of many businesses and trade associations. One of if not the largest lobby and biggest spender, with support for mainly the GOP candidates.

Think: Pro - Reagan taxcuts ; trickle down economics ; NAFTA ; Stop Online Piracy Act ; the Stimulus Act
Against - federal regulation of business , state employee immigration status check ; federal healthcare reform : labor unions

Maybe even the old "Don't tread on me" flag.

What I've read on Ron's platform I would maybe agree on half of the issues. Some are really good, guess I would say "Jeffersonian" in nature, others are a bit out there.
