    Default Best pdf reader?

To make a short story ultra short:
I'm fed up with Adobe Acrobat reader.
It's too slow, too big and the auto-upgrade is extremely inconvenient.

    So my questions are:
-What .pdf reader do you use? and how is it?
-What's the best (free) reader out there if you just want to view .pdf files?

I just downloaded Foxit. Haven't used it for very long, but it seems fast & reliable, plus it is free.

I'm downloading that now. My only disappointment is that, while the reader is free, the editor costs $$$.

That's also what I'm using now.
My first impression is positive, but I though it couldn't hurt to ask the community.

That's no problem for me because I'm not interested in editing.

I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of the community, as well.

I don't think it's so much the reader as the format's big and slow. So if you want to use pdfs at all, you would need to live with thebig and slow. However, if pdfs are too much for you, then you might need to consider a computer upgrade.

I have used Foxit for several months now and haven't had any grievances at all, it didn’t even have any problem with displaying a 600+MB pdf file. :original:

Under the Honoured Patronage of Quintus Maximus Adopted by Valus
    Bestows Patronage upon NobleNick

The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved.
