Many of you may have your own opinions of David Cameron, the Conservative Prime Minister who leads a Lib-Con coalition but do you think he has done well so far or not. Personally, I think he has not been good enough. I am a Tory but Cameron has messed up too many times, it is a shame because he could have been so much better.
    Et in Arcadia ego.

Considering the mess Labour left him he has performed well.

Not to mention the fact he is leading a coalition government.

He's crippled by the Lib dems, but I still don't think he would have done all that much different even if he wasn't. I personally think he should be expelled from the party for being so awful, but at least he is better than anything Labour have ever given us. If the Conservatives do decide to become Conservatives again he might get my support back, but until then no. However I will probably have to support him next election to stop Red Ed destroying the country.

I'm normally more of a lefty but I can't really seriously fault his term so far. I worried that the Conservatives had been so busy kicking and screaming about several consecutive Labour governments that they would forget to actually form viable policy. Whilst I'm unfortunately not of age to vote I would support him over Miliband.

Seriously, at least Cameron has a bit of flair, Miliband has the charisma of a cabbage, and he's a bit too socialist for me.

All politicians suck, just to varying degrees.

Yeah, you're right, I was exaggerating. I'll correct myself.

All mainstream British politicians at the moment suck.

I challenge you to object to that.

    I don't know...

    The Good:
    - The austerity measures look like they are going to get our public finances back in control.
    - The sentiment expressed by many among the Tory benches that the benefits gravy train has to stop.
    - Fighting against EU power grabs.

    The Bad:
    - The UK's economic recovery has flatlined for too long.
    - Libya. We shouldn't have got involved.
    - The Tories still can't shake off the old image that they are a government made up of toffs looking after the interests of their rich friends and associates.
    - The Lib Dems are not a party capable of government, are uneasy bed fellows for the Tories and Nick Clegg is totally out of his depth.

All things considered, given the horrendous mess 13 years of Labour made of this country Cameron is doing ok, but could do better. Labour under Ed Miliband are a joke and have not faced up to their own utter failures in government. I find it extremely galling to see the likes of Ed Balls and Harriet Harman crowing on about what a bad job the Tories are doing when they made such a horrendous mess of thins themselves. The election of Ed Miliband as party leader - due to the influence wielded by the unions in the Labour party - has pretty much ensured Labour will NOT win the next election. Like Nick Clegg, Ed Miliband is totally out of his depth. Expect to see Ed step down and he will be replaced by his far more capable brother who should have been the Labour leader after the last election.

The problem is none of the parties have the balls to directly tackle the real social problems facing this country.

Probably the least worst option for Britain.

Sums it up pretty well I think. None of our political parties are particularly inspiring or appealing, but I'd much rather Cameron was in charge than Miliband.

Taking both the good and the bad I think he's made a fair effort so far. I think we're in a better position economically than we would be under Labour: growth might be pretty much stationary but Labour's plan was to just keep spending...

I'd have to say that other than a few things (such as tuition fees) i've broadly supported everything the coalition has done. As an individual, Cameron is a lot better than our last two PMs. That said, he seems to have a weird habit of trying to make moves to persuade people that he isn't a posh rich guy... when he simply is. I've got nothing against that, it's just that he constantly tries to make himself something he isn't. There's also nothing i've seen from him that makes me think of him as a "great leader", just that he isn't particularly good nor bad.

That's not even considering that the Labour and Liberal leaderships are awful...

I'm not a huge Tory fan but Labour should be as far away from power as physically possible. All this rubbish about Francis Maude being forced to resign, what about when Ed Balls completely messed up with the GCSE results? Or when Dianne Abbot made some racist remarks on Twitter which if a white person made, they would be sacked instantly (for the record, I find racism vile any way)? Ed Miliband is a union puppet and after the incompetence of Brown, the Conservatives may very well win simply because there is no viable alternative.

I answered no (looking at it from an absolutely black and white perspective), although all things considered he's done well considering the things he's had to contend with. Much better than what else has been offered by anyone else, of the main parties anyway.

That being said, I find the results of the SDSR unforgivable.
