Playing as Macedon, had a tough but not too difficult time unifying all of Greece under my flag, Macedonian phalangites and hypaspists are awesome in tandem. But now my borders are secure and the amount of money I'm making is simply Ludicrous, I feel like I've practically already won the game because no one could stand up to the sheer economical backing behind my army. Is this gonna be the case or am I in for a rude surprise? because I'd rather just start a new campaign if I'm just going to Steamroll everyone

Oh ok cool, I had still been playing on 2.0 and I installed 2.5 and now I make about 90k per turn, probs gonna start a new one though so I can benefit from the patch more. ty tho

So essentially, go a while with your money piling up and then expand, so you will have room to lose later

You should probably wait a few years so you can maximise the development of your Core Citys so you can support a large empire outside of Greece.
