CTD when using Coustom Battle!?

Hello all,

I am having an issue when ever I play a custom battle. After I have selected my faction and units, and when I am about to begin the battle (after the initial loading screen and before the battle begins), I see about 1 second of the map, and then the game CTD with a message saying "Medieval II Total War has encountered an unspecific error", or something to that effect.

At first I though this was just an issue with the custom settlements (trying to play on those is when I initaly encountered the error) but then found that it occurred with even the normal maps. Some explanation or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I just looked at the "summer-time error" thread, and don't think that is it. My computer automatically changes to daylight savings every year, and did so automatically this year.

Edit: Actually, it was the "summer-time error" (LOL). I just set my computer language to Russian and changed the clock back to 18:24 by un-checking little box underneath the time, and everything works fine. Thanks for the help!!!!
