Assuming that CDN is canadian dollar, you'll have around €250. If that's correct I'd say go for the Geforce 7900GT. It costs a bit more (ranging from €270 to €320, depending where you buy it) than that, but it is really worth the extra money.
Since you have an AGP and PCI-e motherboard I'm fairly certain that the rest of your hardware is adequate to support the videocard. But it's not a bad idea to postthe rest of your specs just to be sure. Such as processor, ram, motherboard, en especially your Powersupply.

    7900GT

Under 300, and you get a free Ages of Empires to boot.

Check that site once in a while as it has some pretty good prices during their sales.

    Or here's the X1900GT

A little more pricey, but it should be close to your budget.

7900GT is much faster than X1900GT.

I'd go with the 7900 GT as OTZ said. It's power to price ratio is unmatched at the moment.

Is your PSU dual rail or single rail? If its single then 17A is probably not enough.

    This one should do nicely:

Yep - that one should be plenty. Buy the 7900GT and that PSU and you'll be bang on for your budget.

When you check the amps of your 12V rails, is there one 12V or two 12V?

I meant 2 positive 12v rails, sorry about that.

I guess you got a single rail psu. That means you should get the PSU I poster earlier, since your currect PSU probably can't handle a 7900GT.
