I may have asked this already some time earlier, but if i did i cannot find the thread...
In my (semi-current-and-soon-to-become-current) chuahan campaign, i cannot recruit any of my faction-specific units except in a scattering of cities on the far eastern border of the campaign map--and sometimes not even in these. In other TW games, this is attributed to a "culture" issue. I capture a new city, and the populace needs to be converted to my nations culture before i can recruit my culture's units. However, this is late campaign. I control around 30 or so settlements, and i expand slowly. I am expanding even slower, as all of my good units have to be shipped to the front lines via ship after several turns of recruiting.
Is this an intentional thing? Logistics, or some such? Is this a stupid question to which there is an obvious answer, or something which has been answered a long time ago? Is it a bug, to which there is a patch?
Right now, 90% of my battles are being fought by an army consisting of a couple general-elephant riders and a spam of local (crappy) units, but i would like to see more of my noble cav out there...
