Question for ETW & NTW

Hey Guys,
I want to buy the Empire total war and Napoleon Total war Gold edition, but it is way to expensive ($42 on amazon.ca)

If I buy them separately they are cheaper; but then do I have to get a patch in between or after? That is my only concern.

Please let me know.

They both have to activate on steam so you will get the patches automatically. I would also suggest looking at buying them on steam as I believe it should be cheaper than $42.

If you have willpower, they usually put the whole Total War franchise on sale a few months after a new release.

Yeah all the games from Rome to Napoleon was on for $10 once. that was a great deal.
