Default How to get Templar chapter house in Britannia campaign

I'm currently playing the Britannia campaign as the England now. I want to get The templar guild to field some templar knight because England cavalry is quite limited. But how do i get one? not like i can create or join a crusade anyway beside the one that prince Edward join (but i don't get any templar house from that)

You have to have a high level castle (fortress or citadel I think) and a high chivalry governor and keep buying/rebuilding knights there. I got a swordmiths guild but couldn't build knights often enough in one place and didn't get one of the knight guilds. I finished after 52 turns as Wales so perhaps I didn't have enough turns in the game. So build the highest level cavalry building you can and keep producing knights there. Unfortunately putting a high chivalry governor there is a bit of a waste, it would be better putting him in a city and he also will probably get bad taxman as you can't put up taxes in a fortress.

Same as grand campaign of vanilla and Sitalkes is right, you need a fortress to get a minor chapter house and then so on.

btw the a old cheap trick to get a guild pronto is just before u storm the crusade target make all the generals in your home country to join crusade and after that conquer the city in the same turn. U get a guild, chivalry and morale bonuses and it makes the pope go super happy.

For any guild type you get +25 points for joining a crusade and +10 points for recruit knights from it. Apart from that only the hopitallers are Teutons get a bonus of +10 points if they share a border with a region that has islam or pagan religion respectively(have to be more than 50% and is one of the reason i don't capture stettin early in my HRE campaign).
We also get a +10 points if a catholic nation declares war on a islamic factions(Hospitaller guild only).

A chivalrous general having chivalry 5+ also gives a bonus of +5 points every turn in it's settlement.

That all u need to know about getting a Knightly order guild.

No you need to recruit the very same crusading knights to accumulate points for the guild type.

Please re-read my first post, it was quite clear what i said. This thing helps in accumulating more points because later on for major and HQ you need 250 & 500 points respectively which is quite high.

All the other methods possible to get a minor chapter house have been already listed.
