Tips for the Western Empire in BI
So I have tried to play the west a couple times in BI and after awhile I can get a decent econmy up and running. But the Issue is always the endless hordes and I simply don't have the number of troops needed to stop them. Also so many of my characters become corrupt and useless if I let them govern, how do I get my people to become good administraters who aren't super corrupt.

I can't help on the governors, but for the hoards I would simply fight them on bridges - I would especially recommend the one just to the east of Aquincum, with a LOT of Auxilia Palitina. Throw in some carriage Ballistae and plumbatarii, and you should have little or no problem.

Bridges are the bane of any faction, but I would especially say so of hordes...

Just don't play either of the roman empire. Just too much micromanaging and lots of stuff. Play the Franks or the Saxons instead ! Awesome dudes!
