    Default A Tip from Mould-on-the-Wold

After the Battle of Hogwarts, the Resurrection stone had gone missing. As he had gotten very good connections during the Second Wizarding War, Thomas planned on using them. One of these Spies claims, that there are rumours about one of the Deathly Hallows in one village. The Resurrection Stone.
Thomas used his free time to make a meeting with his spy. The Spy told him, that there are some rumours coming from the Mould-on-the-Wold, which is a small Wizarding Village in England. After he had gotten some more free time from Hogwarts, he decided, that this tip is worth a trip to there. On one cold, dark night he finally reached the Mould-on-the-Wold. This Village had some hundred inhabitants.
After 5 minutes of walking he had gotten the idea to go to the Tavern.
    Thomas thought to himself
''The Bartender must know all the Secrets and Rumours about this Village.''
Thomas walked to a nearby Tavern. He looked at the sign'' The Secret Inn''.
    Thomas laughed at this sign
    ''How fitting.''

Thomas takes out his wand and hides it. To hide his identity, he was wearing a black cape and black hood covered most of his Face. He stepped in the Tavern. The Tavern had some 10-20 Customers. Most of them were so drunk, that they couldn't move. Others were very cheerful and demanded from the Bartender, that their mugs would be filled with another round of Ale.
He walked near the Bartender and sat down. He started speaking in a loud and a dark voice
''Give me a Bottle Firewhiskey here.''
Now Thomas started waiting for the Barkeeper to come near to him so he could talk with him.

The Resurrection Stone...an item of great and known power. Originally created by Cadmus Peverell or perhaps given to Cadmus by the entity known as Death, the Stone was first used to bring back Cadmus's fiancee. But upon seeing her and feeling that they were separated, Cadmus killed himself. The Stone would vanish into history from that point on.

The most recent owners were Marvolo Gaunt, the father of Tom Riddle and the future Voldemort. It was placed upon a ring that Marvolo wore till his murder by his son, Tom. Tom would then hide it in the Snitch, which was unlocked and used by Harry Potter. After that, the stone vanished from existence once more.

The Bartender, a rather gruff and large fellow looked at Thomas and snorted. He pulled out a dirtied glass and pours a firewhiskey into it. Then sets in front of Thomas.

Thomas takes a sip from his firewhiskey. It's not bad. Soon he takes a look at the Bartender.
''You must know a lot of stories and rumours, don't ya?''
Thomas pretended, that he was interested.

The bartender glances back at Thomas.

    Curious fellow...might getcha killed.

He then approaches Thomas, his odor filtering towards Thomas's nose. He shows off a toothy grin.

Perhaps...the right price and I may open my mouth.

The bartender snorts and waves to his son.

Take over the bar, Edmund. I am going in the back room.

Edmund rushes over to fill his father's spot. The bartender glances at Thomas and gestures for him to follow into the back room.

    The bartender sits down.

Bah...such an item has only passed through here once. Upon a stranger's ring. After he left, I forgot who he looked like. Perhaps Obliviate...but I remember the ring for some reason.

He pulled out a quill and drew how the gem looked like.

Same shape...but I am not if the same color. It always alters when I think of it.

The bartender tapped his finger on the table, thinking for a moment. He rubs his forehead lightly.

The stranger...mentioned....Whales? Wally...wait! Wales! Yes Wales.

The bartender continued to think more. He tapped his fingers some more.

I believe...he said...Newton, no...Newtown. Newtown, Wales. He mentioned it only a few times, but I can't remember why.

Thomas is pleased. That why he takes from his pocket 20 Galleons
''For your Family's sake I ask you to take this to your grave. My Informant will keep his eye on you and if you fail to keep your mouth shut, I will kill and torture your son and then will kill you. Do you understand?''
Thomas handed the bartender 20 Galleons.

Thomas now leaves the Tavern. He now knows where to go. The Path to the Stone is still open and he is going to take the chance. After looking into some of the maps, he found Newtown. He begins to travel to the County of Powys in Wales. After a days travel he arrives to Newtown. Immediately Thomas finds himself in a new problem. He doesn't know where to go. Luckily for him, he has taken a picture of the Possible Ring with him.

He rests at a local Tavern and after that he begins to show the Picture to People starting with everyone in the Tavern downstairs. His story is, that he is a merchant and he has been given a task, by a rich Pureblood, to find this ring and he'll make great Profit. To the Person who leads him to that Ring or gives any true information, he promises a good pay. Thomas now starts going around the city, using that story to get anymore information.

As Thomas enters the bar...a pair of unknown eyes watches him. But the moment Thomas would look, he would see no one. The Barkeep stands there, refilling drinks for his costumers...some sort of gruff like the last one.
