can anyone who has seen this movie explain the ending i do not get it thx

The mom basicly sold her soul to get her daughter back. So the ether the demon dosnt want her to go back, or since she dosnt have a soul she cant go back (to the real world that is). As for her daughter, she made the agreement with the demon for revenge giving her soul away, and since Allysia and Shannon are the same person Shannon lost her soul too. At lest that is what I think what happend.
