Wandering on the Seventh Floor

It was getting darker and darker outside. The Weather was rainy and you could hear the raindrops, that were falling on the windowsill. There was not a soul in sight, as most of the Students were in their classes, but you could hear some voices on this Floor. Maybe they were Ghosts or maybe the voice came from the other floors. 2 Teachers were standing and talking to each other. It was Professor Thomas Maldow and Professor Harold Gupta. Both of them had pretty serious faces. They were waiting for the Headmaster and Mr Black. They didn't exactly know, why are they supposed to wait them on the Seventh Floor, but soon they were going to find that out.

Thomas was pretty serious, as these news weren't good. Dark Mark and Phoenix Feather, two things which he never expected to be found on the same place. He started speaking in a calm voice to Harold
''These news were something I didn't expect to hear so soon, Harold. Already someone, who has done the Dark Mark. What do you think, might it be a child, like that Ministry Officer says?''

"I don't know, part of me wants to refuse to believe this is happening at all, that even after all the bloodshed of the last war, there are still parts of the world ready to continue the fighting. But the thought that a child has done this... It makes me wonder why I let Filinus talk me out of returning to India."

''Currently a War is very near. It takes only for one side to start killing everyone to cause another war. There is a lot interesting things with this Dark Mark: There were no bodies, a Phoenix Feather was found nearby and also the Dark Mark was imperfect. I hope, that some adult Wizards are trying to make a very bad Joke, but why would anyone joke with something like this. Only a couple of years ago, the Dark Mark brought Fear and Terror to every good wizard in this world. Maybe we'll find some answers here.''

"We can only hope its horrible joke, and not a sign of yet another war between the ministry and the dark lords. I do wonder why though there was a Phoenix feather? Since the Phoenixes are one of the few creatures in this world that probably can be corrupted. On a different note since you spoke to the Headmaster before we gathered, do you by any chance know why our colleges Professors White, Song and Forsyth are not here?"

''I have no idea why our colleges haven't been summoned here. I believe the reason, why they haven't been called is that we don't want this news to spread out.''

I am sorry, lost my way. I have never been to Hogwarts many times. The only place I had visited sometimes was the headmaster's office.

Thomas looked at Black
''Has there been been any Death Eater activity lately? This is a real strange case. A Phoenix Feather and the Dark Mark and I have no idea, why must we be on the Seventh Floor. Only the Headmaster seems to know, what we are doing here.''

If I am not mistaken, then that must be the Room of Requirement.

Black looks thoughtful out the window.

So, he was not joking when he spoke of the room one time.

''What are we looking for in the Room of Requirement? I'll doubt we'll find phoenixes in there.''

"I know the tales that the room only appears when people need it so may I ask, what does this room have to do with the Mark and Phoenix feather?"
