Re: one turn tech and building
I can help a little. If you open the pfm, then go to db, and finally technology_tables, it's the fourth row from the left that says "research points". From what I can gather, every 100 points in that row is 1 turn of research. I don't know if what file that table is in for fall of the samurai, but I would assume it would be in one of the patch.pack files, probably the most recent one. Don't take my word for it, I'm pretty much an amature with total war.
That's so easy I'm sure you can do it yourself, and I'd do it for you, but I don't have fots.

Re: one turn tech and building
I have a question, even though I feel kind of stupid asking, but...what exactly am I supposed to do with that file? Also, can I just get rid of it without re-installing the whole game afterwards?
I just really want to try out those high-end defensive buildings, but by the time they are actually built, my allies will have moved the frontline way ahead. Again.
Thanks in advance!

Re: one turn tech and building
just extract the .pack file and drop it in your data folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Total War SHOGUN 2\data) and activate it in the mod manager when you launch the game.
And you can get rid of it any time you like without re-installing the game

Re: one turn tech and building
This does not work for me
I did as advised but it did not appear at all so I can only assume this is because it isn't up to date?
Hopefully someone has made a updated version or I have somehow messed up this installation.
