Problem with the mod

Hello, im new to the mod and i have a few questions, how i can play with the sarmatians? they don't appear as a selectable faction, how i can switch between the different campagins? i am able only to play in the one on 351 ad, also i am able to play custom battles but not a campaign the loading screen will just stop and won't load at all... but i do can play custom battles, thanks for your time.

Im sorry but that really doesn't answers my question, i have read the post and i have installed the 3 parts and didn't made any other changes, i was able to play a custom battle but i can't start a campaign, there it is no troubleshooting for that neither for the thing with the sarmatians.

Actually, you will find it answers two out of three of your questions. How do you switch campaigns?

- Campaign Folder -

Firstly is the Campaign Gameplay folder. This is where you find 3 campaigns. The campaigns now come with a choice of 4, 6 or 12 turns per year. The 361AD 6tpy is the default campaign, but if you wish to play either the 355AD or 365AD campaigns, just use the install and follow the instructions.

The destination path for the campaign folder is SAI\options\campaigns.

Secondly, why can't you play as the Sarmatians? Well, they aren't a playable faction. Maybe you meant the Iazyges, or the Huns? Again, that question is answered on the link I provided you with.

The Alemanni

As for your last question, it seems to me you are starting the wrong executable. Is this the target of whatever executable you are running? (To see the target, right click on the executable, go on properties and see what target you are getting)

Maybe you're playing IBSAI online battles by accident?

Yeah sorry i meant the Iazygyes, well i appreciate ur time and effort. Thanks for answering my question on how to play the other campaigns, hmmm i don't i didn't downloaded the online files,

is this alright or there might be a problem??
Its funny i can play a custom battle and not start a campaign, don't know if i installed something incorrectly i have an unmoded 1.6 bi folder, i installed the 3 parts in order, what do u think it might be the problem?

Im trying to reinstall in a different hard drive, lets see if it works. Hopefully it would because i am really interested in trying this out.

Does anyone knows if its possible to update the Gold version of the game? I have checked and it seems i have the 1.5 version of BI but i downloaded the patch and it won't let me update the game.

Gold version is already updated to 1.5 RTW and 1.6 BI, which were the latest versions available.

I just checked in the options menu and it says my game is 1.5 i also right clicked on the exe and it said the version is 1.5, any ideas on how this can be fixed? i think its weird i have been able to play other bi mods...

Are you sure you're not in the regular Rome? Gold Edition is already updated for both games.

Yep i double checked my friend, i think there might be some problem in my computer, or something i can start a campaign in vanilla but not in the mod, the same happened with europa barbarorum, i really can't seem to find the problem. i was able to play the ruina romae version before without any problems(just some ctds but nothing else) can't seem to point out what the problem can be.

it is so weird i can start a custom battle but not a campaign, that is what frustrates me the most.

Are you installing to your rtw files and not the bi?
Where is the rtw installed (ie. is it in the program files?)
Are you using the launcher created on the desktop?

not meaning to be rude just 3 mistakes i have made in the past.

Sorry to just butt in, but BI should be 1.6 if you have gold version
Try installing the lot outside 'program files'

Sorry for my late reply! Well i was having a similar problem with Europa Barbarorum, but now after reinstalling windows it works like a charm, thanks y'all for ur time!
