The elder wand crusade

Ever since the battle of hogwarts Cornelius wolf has been in search of the elder, though his ambitions are towards his own greatness he is no dark wizard, his intent is only for the best in the wizarding world and the wand would only be used in the protection from dark wizard attempting to destroy what is known as the wizarding world.

The lore and legend of the Elder Wand runs deep in the wizarding world....almost all young wizards and witches hear the tale of the Beadle and the Bard. Few, however, choose to begin the journey of discovery, fewer still survive it, and only a select few actually come to possess it, or any piece of the hallows. Many great wizards had met their death either as a direct result of the wand's power or by jealous rivals attempting to claim it for their own. In the past year the wand has had as many as four different masters, two of which were widely considered the most powerful wizards of their day, and who were now dead.

After the Battle of Hogwarts the whereabouts of the wand once again passed into shadow and rumor. Harry had attempted to secure the wand in Hogwarts, but in such a weakened state the castle was easily penetrated and robbed. The wand could be anywhere, though most believed it had been taken back to mainland Europe and hidden somewhere obscure. Certainly only a powerful wizard could be in possession of it now. Some peculiar magic performed over Lyon, France seems to suggest Elder wand activity. . .

Cornelius had been monitoring the elder wand activity since the battle of hogwarts, there was quite reasonable evidence to suggest that the elder wand was in the city of Lyon and now was the time for cornelius to make his move. he arrives within the city disguised as a local, he went around to the local taverns trying to gather as much information as he could about the recent events

Cornelius found a dingy local pub, Le Maison. An image of a hunched over old man carrying mortar and paste was painted and chipping on a whitewash wall on the flank of the building. It was a smoky bar, sort of an unwholesome place....

Among the strained French he caught an eastern European accent. It was widely known that eastern European wizards had a certain obsession with the lore of the elder wand. This group of three happened to be discussing the whereabouts of a powerful lost artifact that seemed to hint at the elder wand.

"Stolen right under their noses, I hear." said one of them

"Everybody knows, ze vand has a mind ov its own. It answers to only its master...." said a second.

"I heard some clown tried to take it, he met the master in woods near Munich. Killed him outright." said the third

Cornelius approached the three men, greatly interested he asks questions

Who stole the wand?
Who killed him?
Where is it now?

[Pontifex Maximus]

All three of them looked up indignantly and frowned. They began speaking in what might have been Romanian. Finally, one of them spoke up.

Our French hosts 'ave spoken about the rudeness of the English, but now we see it for ourselves. Listening in to us talking and then interrupting us, demanding we answer your questions? You forget yourself, sir.

The man dropped four galleons onto the table and the three of them rose to leave the bar, stepping into the cold night.

I understand that I may come off as abit rude but I sincerely wish to apologize
he takes out his wallet and gives the man 5 galleons to pay for his tab
I have just been in search of the elder wand for years, I finally want to capture and use it to defend the wizarding world of the dark forces which are trying to destroy it. My name is Cornelius wolf, I am the minister of magic

Not for much longer, from what I hear. You and many others seek the wand, I doubt you would be up to the task of prying it from the dead hands of its master. Rumor has it a powerful dark wizard has it, and he's wreaking havoc. Have a death wish, have you?

Cornelius's face saddened as his fear had come true
Evil should never behold such power which is why i have searching for this wand for so long. i must attempt to take this wand from him, i will not have another Tom Riddle destorying the wizarding world

The second man flashed a yellow smile

Then you valk towards your own doom.

With that the three men turned and disapparated on the spot with a crack

Cornelius continued his search for the elusive elder wand and it's master though now he was ready to kill the one whom held it without questions. He was not going to try and reason with a dark wizard for he would undoubtly die before he speaks. Cornelius moves onto the next tavern hoping to find remients of the dark wizard, it would not be far fetched that he would try recruiting hopless wizards to his cause.
