Not-so-small rule change

It dawned on me that a 5 point cap on proficiency points earned for each category in respective classes is way too low. Even with perfect scores the job requirements for most jobs couldn't be met. Therefore I am increasing the cap to 8. This way someone could graduate with a possible 56 points (for a perfect score), which is much more reasonable. Professors should grade accordingly on a scale of 1-8 each year. 5th and 7th year students can earn a possible ten points.

Could we, as professors, give certain bonuses for being the first student that performs a certain spell, makes a certain potion perfectly, etc?

I, for one, intend that the first 1-3 students to transform their valuable posessions to get a bonus in willpower and transfiguration, as well as house points, if I get green light.

You could, within the confines of the 1-8 limit. Going over that would be gravy though, and I'm not sure entirely fair. Besides, the first three could just RP that theirs went brilliantly and get the bonus anyway
