(Event for Stig) A Riddle of Rescue...or Punishment?

It was very late for Xander. Due to losing track of time, the school was closed and curfew was up! If he were caught, it would be detention with Mr. Filch and a trip to his Head of Houses office. The Ravenclaw's entry was a bronze eagle. Once Xander approached it...the eagle spoke.

Good Ravenclaw. A riddle you must enter to come in to your home. Answer this riddle and you may enter. A riddle made by our founder, Rowena Ravenclaw herself. What is beyond measure? What is seen as a man's greatest treasure?

Xander rubbed his eyes. Let's see... wait. Rowena Ravenclaw? Yes, that would work. Makes sense, given the author, everything works. A slow smile spread across his face as he gave the answer.

"Knowledge, intellect, wit, brains, or any other synonym you can think of."

Come now, Ravenclaw. You must speak one answer and one answer alone. You are the brains, the smarts...I merely give the riddle. Give your answer and you shall see if you are truly Ravenclaw.

The eagle freezes up and the door opens. A lantern could be seen nearby...as well as the breathing of Argus Filch. Xander needed to move now!

He lept into the open doorway, silently mouthing curses as he hopped up the stairs as quietly as he could.

The eagle closes...moments later, Mr. Filch walks by and stands, looking around.

Shoot...almost caught someone, eh Mrs. Norris. Awell, better luck next time.
