Hey guys it would be great if someone could get back to me ive just recently installed napleon total war great game but one down side when i play battles i can see all equipment on the units but i cant actually see the units if there is a patch or mod that can fix this please respond with the links and steps to doing it also.

Open the case and inside on the motherboard is the name of it and the model number.

From your description of the problem, this could well be a graphics card driver problem. You say you're now running Windows 7 and the DxDiag shows that you've got an ATI RADEON 9600 Series (WDDM 1.0), which suggests that it's running a Vista compatible driver.

From the ATI website, they state "AMD’s DirectX 9 ATI Radeon graphics accelerators are not officially supported under Windows 7 "(their emphasis), which means that the card/drivers might not work the way they are supposed to on your system. You could try upgrading the drivers (but even the latest drivers for your card are not supported under Windows 7) or you could buy a new graphics card that supports DirectX 11.
