Burnt out bus

Gellert Teufel and the rest of the Aurors apparate in at a safe distance from where the death eaters have struck( I assume that Godfrey is here as well.) , Gellert turns to all of them.

"Stay here for a minute I will scout the area and see if they're still here."

Gellert then transforms into to his animagi form of a golden eagle and lifts to about 2,000 feet looking at a couple of square miles around the bus carefully.

Willam apparates to the location of the explosion of the bus and looks around. He could see the extent of the damage to the bus as if a bomb went off inside of it killing everyone. As he looked around he notice a few muggles nearby and walked over to them. Although their was no witness alive from the crash. It would help to know if anybody saw anything strange that appeared after the crash. He looked for the aurors also hoping to get some information.

" Did anyone see anything strange after the explosion ?. Some lights or anything of that nature. I need all the infomation I could get so I could figure out what happened and to arrest the person responsible

Edmund approaches the Aurors and walks over to them.

Someone noticed strangers in the alleyway, heading for fourth street and the local cricket stadium.

He points in the direction

William listens to the man and nods his head. So they have returned after all. The death eaters are close by or some muggles playing a trick on them. He did not know but he needed answers and fast. He looks at the muggle and smiles

" Thank you for the information. It will be helpful in the long run. Is their anything else you might know about what happened. Any other infomation that could be useful before I head into the alleyways and search them out ? "

Gellert landed next to William and the rest of the Aurors approached.

"I didn't see anything but we will follow your lead now Sir."

The officer points to the bus nearby.

Not sure exactly what happened. It just was really fast...the bus was seen being cut up and slammed into that shop over there. The Muggle Police are calling it a malfunction in the breaks. I did notice something though.

He points to a cafe.

A couple people had been sitting there before the bus came...when the bus arrived, they were gone. Seconds later, the bus was torn apart and crashed into the store. Police are saying that dark figures were seen moving through the alleyways, but they think they are shadows.

William nodded his head and whispered into the ear of the Auror.

" Go check out the alley way. I will go to the cafe and check it out. Be careful Auror " He turns to the man and smiles as he walks over to the Cafe. Once their he sits down at a table and waits to be served on. He had questions to ask the patrons about the dark figures. He needed information and fast. As he waits he remembers his days as a death eater and frowns. Whoever was doing this was clearly not skilled and should be taken out as soon as possible

The waiter wasn't much help for being a Muggle. He pointed to the table.

They left without paying...they just were there and then gone. We get customers like that. That is all I know, sorry sir. Oh! I got to get back to the kitchen now!

The Muggle gave William an odd look before leaving. Odd that someone who wasn't in uniform asking about customers.

William frowned and sighed. This was pointless what was he thinking coming here and asking questions. So they left without paying but that was nothing new in this world. In fact it was common for someone not to pay. He got up and decided to head to the alleyway. Once their he takes a look around. He had a hand in his pocket where his wand was. He hope that the Aurors will come soon to protect him although he could protect himself if it came to that. As he looked around he found nothing really strange in the alley but then again.. Death eaters like to hide from the public. He keeps on looking going on the tip from the man who said he saw people in the alleyway

Footsteps were heard running down an adjacent place to the left of William. The edge of a black cloak was seen rounding a corner.

William heard the footsteps and decided to go after them. He ran as fast as his legs would carry him his wand in his hand at all times. He was tempted to cast a spell but he did not know if the man was a muggle or not

" Stop in the name of the Ministry of Law Enforcement !. If you do not stop you will be arrested and sent to Jail ! "

The figure turned, revealing a poor and filthy man. His hands raised immediately.

Oh please! I don't want to go back to the Ministry!

He drops to his knees. A wand fell out of his dirtied coat! He clearly was a wizard, perhaps a Squib. He began to beg for forgiveness...before speaking something of importance.

Please please! This isn't my cloak! Someone dropped it off and I took it...I needed something to keep me away from the rain.

William looked at the man. Something about the man was off. Why was he running from the Ministry and for what reason. If he wanted information it would best that the man told only him and that nobody else can hear what he has to say. He took out his wand and pointed it at the man.

" Why are you running away from the Ministry ? and if that is not your cloak than whos cloak is it ?. But that is not important what is why you are running away from me and did you see anything happen to the bus that exploded ?. Look i am not the type to harm those that made a mistake. Tell me why you are running away and maybe I can help you. But you have to promise me you will not run away any longer alright ?. And I do not want to fight you either unless you force me "

The man points to the corner.

I heard footsteps and hid...someone said to drop the cloak before two pairs of feet ran off towards the cricket stadium. So I came out and took the cloak. When I heard you approaching, I thought you were the person who left the cloak and wanted it back. So I ran, fearing punishment.

The Squib then pulls out an ad; it said that all Muggle-borns needed to register...it dated back to when the Ministry was under the control of the Death Eaters and the Second Wizarding War. He looked up at William.

I thought...that the Ministry was coming to arrest me for being a Muggle-born...a Squib. Ever since these papers came out, I ran for my life and hid.

William listened to the man words. Voldmort was a fool to think he could enforce such rules. Despite him being a death eater himself he did not believe that everyone had to be a pure blood to be a wizard that it should include muggle borns also. After all the pure bloods would not last long without new families. So by the time of the last generation their will be no more pure blood families to be wizards. Well at least he thought that way anyway.

" That policy does not exist any more friend. The information that you gave me is helpful and gives me a idea. You said that they dropped the cloak and ran off right ?. Well its more than likely they will come back for it once they feel its safe. I am going to need you to help me with this. I am going to need you to go to the Cricket stadium with the cloak and see if you can get their attention. And then I want you to run as fast back to this location and then I will take care of it. How does that sound. " If they where death eaters he prayed that the auros get here to back him up. But if they where not.. Then he was going to take of business like he was trained to do. Oh how he hoped they where not death eaters and that he could take care of this problem and head back home to his wife

I-I will see what I can do. I will try my best at getting their attention, sir. Thank you again for not killing me.

The Squib stood up and pulled the cloak on before rushing off for the stadium.

Gellert went into the alleyway scanning it carefully with his hand on his want ready for immediate action, he saw some muggles.

"Have you seen any dark figures moving quickly through here?"

The muggles looked at him then at each other and shook their heads before walking off, giving the man weird looks.

Undaunted by his failure to communicate with the muggles Geller continues into the alley looking for any sign of the death eaters.

Moments later, a Squib in a dark cloak passes by...nearby would be William, who had only just recently made a deal with this Muggle-born Wizard that went by Geller.
