The house on the Isle of Drear

The only house still standing on the Isle of Drear, and the first built in centuries there, this remote place is called home by Milo Forsyth. While the caves provide valuable space, it is the high cliff that gives the place its value as the Quintaped, the monstrous wizard-eating beasts cannot climb it nor swim past it. It is also the highest point on the whole island, which gives a nive overview of the surroundings.

Two loud cracks signaled that two wizards had apparated nearby. In the gloom and shadows of the twilit cove, two masked persons approached the house, looking for signs of life within the house on the cliff.

"What do you think, Margaret?" The first masked figure swiped his wand in front of his face, turning the mask to smoke. It was Nero Turnstile, known death eater and on the Ministry's most wanted Wizards list.

"He's in there. Its summer holidays, he wouldn't have stayed at Hogwarts." The witch was old, probably in her early sixties, with a hooked nose and silver-gray hair.

The pair approached the door. "Alohamora" Margaret whispered. She pulled the handle, and let the door creak open.

"Milo Forsyth?"

The place was full of magical alerts and defenses, almost all against the Quintapeds, but those worked against wizards as well. Milo was aware of the two intruders for a while and he was considering for the best way to deal with them.

Obviously, they weren't from the Ministry, those bureaucrats still wanted reports about everything before dragging their ******** here. No, these two were unsolicited visitors. Not wanting to show himself and face them yet, he conjured his Patronum to speak with them.

The pair of Death Eaters creeped in further and Margaret spoke out again "We're here to offer you a bit of a deal, Milo. Come on out now..."

Margaret drew her wand and made a circular motion "Protego!" The ropes fell to the floor

Come on now, professor! Don't be a fool. You would be honored above others to join our cause. We are getting stronger you know. Don't think that just because Voldemort is gone we don't have the strength or numbers to see his noble mission through to the end. We've even got a new Lord to follow, and he wants you, Forsyth.

OOC: Hard to RP after watching a comedy that has some sexual content.

"Wants me to do his laundry, that kind of wish? Why isn't he here if he wants me? Who am I talking to?"

Hearing the voice reply, Milo took careful aim and shot a spell in that direction.

"Bombarda!"

The two Death Eaters were thrown backwards. Nero's arm ripped open on a jagged piece of wood.

"I told you he was insane! Blowing up his own house! I'm not going to get killed for this." Nero disapparated, leaving Margaret alone.

"Curse you!" Margaret spat at nobody in particular. "Alright, Forsyth, have it your war! Confringo!"

The spell hit a vase behind him, this was getting close.

Moving fast to another room, and his heart pounding from the thrill of easy victory, Milo pushed on. Thinking hard on what he wanted to do and how he wanted to accomplish it, a grim smile appeared on his face. After all, battles are won more by morale than by violence.

Putting all his mind and willpower to it, he pointed the wand to the other room, first cast "Serpensotia" and then fast afterwards "Incendio". The combination of a snake and fire sure should put anyone off their balance. More so if the snake was terified by its life.

"I'm getting too old for this..." Margaret thought to herself. She had underestimated this Milo. She thought he might even be persuaded. She raised her wand and began her incantation "Imper..." But then the house erupted into flames. The crazy git! Burning his own house down? And what was that...A SNAKE!

Panic set in. Whatever this Milo character was worth, it wasn't worth a snake bite or being burnt alive. Margaret retreated into the yard and screeched "MILO YOU LOON! COME OUT HERE AND FACE ME!"

"Ahahahahahahaha! Not so brave after all, eh? All you Death Eaters know is to trick and use deception, but how about you come here and face ME?"

Using the back door, Milo finally appears before the Death Eater.

"Shall we play, then?" said Milo with a twinkle in his eyes, made more terrifying by the burning house behind him.

"Stupefy!" "Incarcerous!"

Margaret stopped the first spell with a flick of her wand. Leveling it at Milo she screeched "Imperio!" The result was the two spells connecting in mid air. With tremendous effort, Milo willed his spell forward and before long, Mergaret was trapped in place, a rope coiled around her body.

+5 hexes, +2 charms, +5 willpower

The rest is up to you, what you do with her.

Seeing his enemy defeated, Milo put a Dissaparition spell on the area, sent a Patronum to the Ministry and went back to tend to his house. It would not be an easy task, but at least the happiness and the sense of victory that filled him helped to put a focus on him to finish the task fast and safe.

Two hours after that, Milo's Patronum returned without a reply. Sensing something was wrong, he transfigured a boat to take him away from the Anti-Apparition area and then Apparated at the Ministry.
