From recent findings, special correspondent Rita Skeeter has brought startling news to the wizarding community. There is evidence to suggest that the muggle era of turmoil which they call The Great War or World war one was in fact the doings of Gellert Grindelwald. That it is clear that this was one of his grand plans to prove and legitimise wizard supremacy.

We have reason to believe that the main participants of the muggle war were under the Imperious curse. Not neccessarily by Grindelwald himself, but perhaps by his then captain Alan Wilhelm Schwarz. We could also wonder how the extent of Grindelwald's doings.

Rita has recently heard that descendents of Grindelwald's followers are in employment of the ministry. One can think what is the ministry doing, and what hidden skeletons the rest of the staff have.

The Dover Club

A nice comfortable building in Dover, facing the Channel.
This used to be a muggle clubhouse, but for some reason they abandoned it and dare not step foot in it again.
Should wizards use this as a club? Or will it be a club exclusive to Ministry employees?

On the subject of the Dover Club, I would like to interject my ideas. It is known that Ministry employees gather in the Ministry of Magic lobby before and after work. In addition, having the occasional non-Ministry employee in the Wizards' Club is hardly going to harm business or pleasure within. Therefore, I see no reason not to open it for all licensed wizards over the legal drinking age. It could become a Wizard hotspot, one of the great attractions of Britain's Wizarding World!

The fight is not over!

Even though Voldemort has been defeated a lot of his followers are still at large and they're even more dangerous right now that they lack a clear leader since there are old lieutenants with bands of their own, that are out to prove that they can take Voldemort's place by committing atrocities against muggles and wizards alike. Last week we lost five good Aurors in the aftermath of such an atrocity and 20 muggles was killed, however we got five of the wretched death eaters before they fled like the cowards they are. That is the incident that caused me to write this letter since we at the department of magical law enforcement have realised that the war against the vile followers of Voldemort is far from over, we need every good man and woman that are willing to join us in the fight against the servants of darkness. So if you have a wand and an urge to make the world a better place, come down to the department of magical law enforcement in the ministry of magic and join the just fight!

Wizarding Community Outraged, Minister's Popularity Decreases Rapidly in recent polls, Minister to Resign?



In current events, the polls have shown a rapidly decreasing popularity among the British Wizarding Community towards the reigning Minister of Magic Cornelius Wolf, who has been unresponsive to his duties for the past four months. The Advisor of the Minister, Alan Pineapple, has made no comment to the Daily Prophet and her reporters, despite many attempts to contact the Mr. Pineapple. Other Department Heads have been contacted, but no word has been given back to us. With the rising discontent towards the Minister's inactivity, combine with a series of Death Eater attacks and the disappearance of William Beamish Huntingdon, Head of the Department for Magical Law Enforcement, the legal courts of the Wizengamot have been taking steps towards the early resignation of Cornelius Wolf and formulating new elections for the Minister's replacement. A member of the Wizengamot managed to speak with us saying "In the wake of recent events and the Wizarding World still recovering from the Second Wizarding War, we are forced to act upon emergency powers to remove Cornelius Wolf from power. The community desires a stronger and more aggressive Minister that will resort our authority and counter the sudden resurgence from the Death Eaters." This is indeed a bold step by the Wizengamot, but with the string of inactivity by the Minister, certain steps must be taken to ensure peace and order within the British Wizarding Community.

Minister Cornelius Wolf forced to resign by decree of the Wizengamot, Nominations and Elections to Follow

In a stunning move, the former Minister of Magic, Cornelius Wolf disrupted an important meeting, under the jurisdiction of the Wizengamot. His display of irrational behavior towards the Heads of the five departments of the Ministry resulted in him being escorted to the Wizengamot where a 3 - 2 vote was made in favor of his removal as Minister of Magic. A Ministry official had this to say: It is indeed hard for us to remove Cornelius Wolf from his position, but in a time where the community at large needs a strong and active Minister at the helm, action was needed to be taken in removing the ineffective reign of Minister Wolf. The Wizengamot has declared a temporary control over the Ministry of Magic and has begun to the process of nominations and election for the next Minister of Magic. Many wizards and witches hope that Cornelius's successor will be proactive in the community at large and will manage to contain the growing Death Eater threat that obstructs the peace and order of the Wizarding Community.

In recent days, the omens for the Wizarding world have been bleak. Just when we thought that we were truly safe after the catastrophic wars, it seems that is not the case. The Death Eaters have returned, and have been able to attack freely wizard and muggle alike. Yet due to the incompetence of the previous minister, no retaliation has been offered. In response, I stand to be elected Minister of Magic, dedicated to eradicating the Death Eater threat and to ensure that we stop the dark mark in this island, forever.

With our liberties and peace at risk with the string of recent Death Eater attacks as well as the disappearance of many loved ones, we must resort to quick action and be attentive towards all incursions upon our community. Under Cornelius Wolf, this response never was developed nor any measure to counter the growing threat was made. I stand ready to defend what is rightfully ours and keep order among the Wizarding community of Great Britain. If I am elected as the next Minister of Magic, I will take all measures necessary and counter the threat imposed by the Death Eaters. We will stamp out their existence and restore peace to our community. United as one, we will defeat the growing threat and stamp out parasite that dares to feast upon our given liberties and the established peace of our community.

During these dark times, wizard world needs a strong minister who can stood upon these Death Eaters and vanish them. Our community required no less a strong leader who can stop these hostilities and bring this community to balance. Oliver Baird for Minister of Magic

There are many of you out there who believe that the heroic actions four years prior from the renowned Harry Potter has made the wizarding realm safe and free from the dark magic that once plagued it to almost destruction. You cannot be anymore deceived and wrong; Dark magic still lurks, corruptions still festers inside the ministry and the bad odor of Death still roams the halls. Even now, there are elements of the former Dark Lord's army that plans and plots, trying to cause misery for all of the Wizarding populace and continue their dark crusade. We need to stay alert and bring greater public attention to this threat, once again we need to unite to remove this scourge from the realm and bring peace once more. Yet Ministry action is not enough, we will need the support of every wizarding man and woman, to support the noble cause and help us defeat this menace.

Yet why should you vote for Oliver Baird.....? There are many others who wish to obtain the position of Minister of Magic for their own purposes or ill-gain; and there are those who would be weak and allow these cursed death-eaters back into the very place we worked so hard to banish them from. Yet I pledge that I will not bow to no dark magic and will commit my very being to the office; all views and opinions of the Wizarding people will be heard and taken into consideration, for it is you who will help us win the day and keep the Wizarding community running. I will help remove this death-eater infestation and bring in more fairer measures to make the ministry a place free of corruption and misdeeds!
