Installation question / options folder

Dear Forum
For example, if I have completed the 355AD campaign an intend to play the 361AD campaign afterwards with different options, e.g. 4tpy instead of 6tpy, vanilla vegetation instead of RS II vegetation, no forced diplomacy etc. – have I to uninstall the whole game and re-install it with the new options or can I simply over-install the new features in the options folder?

P.S. I ascertained that the RSII vegetation file from the options folder was installed in the RTW-directory (C/Programs/The Creative Assembly/RTW;I play with the Gold-Edition of RTW/BI), not in the subordinate SAI-folder like the other optional features; does this really not affect the other mod-foldered games in the RTW dircetory?

Of course I read the installation instructions on the main page, but I can´t remember reading something regarding my specific questions. I´m not asking all these questions to annoy you, but I have a very consuming wife and two little children… and, thus, I have not really much time to play this fantastic mod. For this reason I´m very cautious with installing and so on, because it would be very annoying if the game crashes via my own fault(s). I was simply surprised that the RSII vegetation option has been installed in the main RTW folder, not the SAI folder like the other optional features. And I´m not sure what to uninstall, overwrite or to install completely new when I´m maybe going to play another campaign in a few months.

The RSII vegetation option should be installed in the SAI folder. You find that all major optional installs like the vegetation, soundmod you should uninstall the current option before installing the different one.

As fr the campaigns, you can just install the new campaigns over the existing one.

After installing the prefered options some new deinstall icons emerged in my directory. Is this correct?

P.S. my last question: If I installed the latest revision dated 13th April 2011 from parts I-III of this mod I understand that it is not necessary to install the patch 1.2 ?!

That is correct.

Correct, so that you can uninstall them later if you wish

P.S. my last question: If I installed the latest revision dated 13th April 2011 from parts I-III of this mod I understand that it is not necessary to install the patch 1.2 ?!

No, you still need to install Patch 1.2

Ok, after work I shall going to deinstall the whole game (Gold Edition and mod) and install it all new - with patch 1.2! Thankfully my campaign (355AD, 6tpy, forced diplomacy) was at the beginning...
And I think that I don´t need to install the RSII vegetation, because it´s apparently a default-feature
