    Default Availability waiting time for units

    Don't You think the waiting time for new units to be available is a little bit to log. And I don't mean the elite units, but basic ones. For exapmle, trying to make a few units of Empire handgunners, and the same amount of swordsmen or halberdiers to make a base for army is taking ages (turns).

    If you don't like it change it.

    I guess you meant the unit replenishment time;

    MedievalIITotalWar\mods\Call_of_Warhammer\data\export_descr_buildings

    Code:
    recruit_pool "daemonettes"  1   0.1   1  0  requires factions { denmark, teutonic_order, }
    0.1 (one tenth of one) means that it takes 10 turns for the next unit to become available, one tenth of a unit is added to the recruitment pool each turn.

    In case you meant the recruitment time;

    MedievalIITotalWar\mods\Call_of_Warhammer\data\export_descr_unit

    Code:
    stat_cost        4, 5000, 1000, 100, 200, 5000, 1, 666
    The indicated number is the number of turns it takes to recruit.

    In the latter case it was the duty of any thinking human, to press himself into the front of this depraved movement, to perhaps still prevent the extreme, in the former case the founders of this peoples disease must have been true devils; for only in the brain of a monster - not of a human - could the plan for an organisation take meaningfull form, whose purpose must lead toward the end result of a collapse of human culture and thus to the desolation of the world.
    In this case only battle remained as a means of final delivery, battle with any weapons that the human mind, intellect and will are able to comprehend, regardless, of whom fate would gift with it's blessing."

    I meant replenishment time. Thank you for help, but changing all COW units in the file would last forever . I was asking abaut everybody's point of view, if it's fun and playable because I just started the game.

    Then you can change only the replenishment time for the basic units like handguners and the like for the faction you are playing. Don't worry, that won't make you überunstoppable, the game is pretty challenging anyway.

    I'm only using 1.5 for testing modding techniques, so I haven't really played it yet.

    1.44 was great, though I can't really give you an objective answer because I used to play tabletop as a child and I've got more than a hundred Black Library books on my wall, so my opinion of the game is colored by my past.

    I'm going to wait for Reiksfart's "The Hardcore Fantasy Battle Campaign" Submod before playing Cow again, though in my opinion Cow is certainly worth it as is.

    It shouldn't take that long to edit the file by the way, that value is the only decimal value in the file, so just note all the different values (like 0.1, 0.25, 0.033 etc.) and replace them with a more soothing standard of your choice with the replace function of Notepad or whatever textediting software you use.
