Favorite Breed Of Dog?

Just a random survey to satisfy my curiosity on the manner. What is your personal favorite breed of dog?

I have two favorite depending on size of the breed. If we're talking small-breed, I'll take a pug. Why you ask? Aren't they flipping retarded and ugly? Why yes, yes they are. Yet they're the only "ankle-biter" class of dog I've met that hasn't made we want to punt it over a fence. They're quite cute actually, all they really want to do is sleep on you and they're happy. They make good lap pillows.

But when it comes to "real-size" dogs, I personally favor the German Shepard. Strong, regal, noble, loyal, can't go very wrong with the breed. Once you earn it's trust and loyalty you can expect it to die before it lets anything harm you or your loved ones. They're great tempered and love kids, yet they're not pussies when it comes to intruders. Yet they still manage to be the most lovable dog when you're on their good side... and they just look so... awesome.

My buddy had a huge Rottweiler pup, never trained it. That dog even as a puppy, was a menace.

I guess I like Labs. Simple, smart, etc. But I guess the most fun Ive ever had with a dog would have been a girlfriends Pugs. Ive also known other Pugs, and they are all unique. Massive personalities, just a ton of fun.

I've always loved labs, which is why I got one back when I was nine. Unfortunately, I had to have her put down on the 10th. Hardest day of my entire life. But, I stuck with her until the end. Held her in my arms and watched her die, then I dug her grave, wrapped her in her favorite blanket and buried her with her bed beneath her and her water bowl and a chew flip. Her name (Mabel) was the perfect name for her. Gentle, meek and mild, loving. Just an absolute sweetheart. Poor thing could hardly walk because her hips were failing her, she had benign tumors growing on her which restricted her breathing and she had blood in her stool, which meant internal bleeding. I miss her so much, but I'm glad she's not suffering anymore. She was, and still is, my baby girl.

Anyway, labs are patient, gentle, friendly, loving, incredibly loyal, and don't ask for anything more than a bit of love. For that - they'll give you the world.

How you get the dog? You need to become an atheist, and then kill three priests. After you've done this, travel to Murmansk to get your medal. You can exchange the medal for one of these dogs.

I loved almost any dog I've come across so long as they were raised well and disciplined .

Still trying to figure out what that mutt I rescued from a gas station is composed of.
Loved all these dogs so far though so I can hardly pick. Only dogs I don't care for are the undisciplined which in my case have largely been Chihuahua based of some sort.

My favorite is the kind that isn't in my house or backyard. Or near me. Same goes for cats. Also every other kind of pet.

I'd love for a dog like that. Best defense my future and current family can have. Even though a rather large black dog who hates people and barks often does the trick also.
