Gota Laugh at the game AI

I have been playing the coalition game and I am commanding Austria. I have several allied countries against France and Spain. All my allies have been doing is walking around in circles in their respective countries. The only one doing any attacking is me. Every once and a while a allied fleet will attack one of France or Spain's fleet to clear a blocked trade route. Why even have them if they are not going to do anything. I though it was a joint effort on the part of all the allies. Oh well NTW is a step down from Empire Total War. There at least your allies controlled by the AI attack and don't sit around doing nothing.

What difficulty are you playing on?

Yep, AI is bunk I wish you could find a "cheat" that would allow you to take control of any nation in your savegame. that way you could at least tailor the game a bit for the fun of it.

Don't expect help from allies in a Total War game.

Allies are just factions waiting for the right time to attack you...

Try to play Hard or Very hard Mode. I saw even minor nations to attack SuperPowers. Sometimes even they won a battle.

Since i saw Bavaria taking Austria and Hessen taking Prussia in the same game, i learned to expect everything from the AI, you just have to play in VH

just do it yourself that though that is the reason you should never have some one join a war unless they are in between you and your enemy
