RS 2 and other modfoldered mods

So, I'm in a situation...I have RTW gold+Alex, with Aristeia mod...and I want to play RS2.5. I will make a separate folder with RTW copy for RS, is it enough to just grab the whole RTW folder and copy it somewhere, then delete Aristeia folder from it, or does it have to be clean install?

If you can be sure that the grab is a match for a clean then do it that way, but I suspect that if it runs into problems it could be a real pain to fix. You would be better with a clean RTW if that is possible. It would make things much easier for sure.

Well, it is modfoldered so I can run RTW with it, so no original files were changed. Only question is, would the extra files affect anything?

The question is if it goes wrong, do you really want to lose everything? Honestly, it would be better to start afresh. There is a post from Apple in another thread as to a potential way to go around this.
