The rank of Civitate is an honored position, and my behavior as a Civitate will reflect the trust and confidence bestowed upon me by my patron, and the staff of TWC. As a Civitate I will continue to post articles in a professional and respectful manner, providing appropriate references for material borrowed from others. Given the opportunity, I intend to produce a few in-depth articles on historical events and people.
As a Civitate I can provide a helpful and supportive environment for new members, and the TWC community as a whole. I will direct my attention towards the Help and Technical Forums, in order to ease the transition for new members and to intergrate them into the TWC community. I have visited these forums a few times, and have offered advice to several individuals seeking installation and other computer related ideas.
As the behavior of Civitate is representative of the Civitate community as a whole, I will act responsibly, and avoid personal attacks. I will redirect comments to those in higher positions who have had more experience with these issues.
As a Civitate, I will gain a voice within the CURIA. Within the CURIA I will have the privilege of exchanging ideas, topics and discussing recent developments, proposing legislation, and, most importantly, voting on legislation. The role of a Civitate in regulating legislation is somewhat unique to this board, and in many aspects, makes it an important location for the flow of ideas across the continents and nations of our world.
As a regular member, I have engaged in beta testing for Lusted’s Terrae Expundae mod of RTW, and for Arthurian Total War of BI. In addition, I have joined several discussions on the board, particulary within the Mudpit and the Vestigia, and have initiated the Coins of Rome and the Ancient World thread.
The title of Civitate is both an honor and a responsibility. And I intend to perform in a fashion that benefits both my honored patron and the TWC community
