Atticus walked into the shop, clutching a small bag on clinking money. He walked over to the section containing pets and looked longingly at the owls...if only he had the money. He would have to settle for a cat. He went over and selected a large gray cat, overlooking the other. He had been drawn to this one immediately for some reason...perhaps it was the way the feline stared at him as he approached. Somehow he knew this one was for him.
Stroking its head thoughtfully he spoke out loud "And what should I name you?" He thought for a moment..."Regis." The cat seemed unconcerned, apparently not yet fully understanding just how much Atticus had been looking forward to finally obtaining a pet of his own.
He left the shop with Regis and his Hogwarts robes.

Tristan entered the shop peevishly, just as Atticus left. According to the Hogwarts professor who had been tasked with his introduction into the Wizarding World, it was this fair shop that he would be purchasing his clothing from. He stopped in wonder in the great and baffling array of items, products and objects for sale. All were unknown, mystical qualities to him. He stood there, dazzled...
Until a more hasty customer budged past him, breaking Tristan's daydreaming. Mumbling his apologies, Tristan returned to the task at hand. He moved to a corner of the shop which featured various clothes, perched on railings and hangers. He plucked one of the uniforms, comparing it briefly to the size of his own body. Judging it to be too big, he repeated the process several times, in a mechanical fashion, until he found the best fitting uniform. He walked back over to the counter, and wordlessly paid for his chosen product. Taking one or two more looks around the shop, he then promptly left.
"Only Connect!...Only connect the prose and the passion, and both will be exalted, and human love will be seen at its height. Live in fragments no longer."
Cecil walked into Dervish and Banges, head held high and the usual prideful expression on his face, barely even noticing the other boy exiting the shop. He would waste no time here, quickly moving only to get what he was there for. It took several minutes, impatiently going through various robes to find one that would fit him neatly, before he found a good fit, at which point he moved to rejoin his uncle and aunt outside.
However, he stopped just before leaving the shop upon finding the Pets section. 'Mm...an owl would be really impressive, but I just don't have the money...and rats? Bleh, I'd be the laughingstock of all Hogwarts, the only thing worse than them are the toads,' Cecil thought to himself. Finally, he chose to pick up a calico cat instead. 'Now what name would suit you best?...you need something suitably impressive...' He gazed off into the ceiling, taking up a full minute going through various names from Caesar to Rex, then going back over the 'list' of suitable names he'd drawn up in his head before finally making a decision. 'Now how about Orestes, 'one who can conquer mountains'? Sounds strong, impressive, recognizable, and fitting for someone like me. Yeah, Orestes, that's a good one.'
With his robes in a bag and the newly-christened Orestes in his arms, Cecil left Dervish and Banges, looking over his new pet with pride.
Violeta walks in, not paying attention to any others who are leaving or entering besides herself and her cousin. The two girls stop before the owls and stare rather interested at the birds, Violeta staring at a black eagle owl, and Ashley a snowy owl. The two sigh as they can;t afford the majestic birds right now, so they seperate to purchase their required items. Violeta looks through each uniform, meticulously inspecting them before selecting one. She then paid for her uniform and left, not that interested in a cat or rat. Meeting her cousin outside, the two leave to scour the shops for a pewtwe cauldron and Herbologist's Brigadine. Afterwards, they meet their uncle and return home.

Professor Harold Gaputa walks into the store with a kind smile at the number first year students who as usual would stare at his foreign presence the first time the saw him. He continues to look kind and doesn’t bother those who upon realizing that he knew they were staring at him quickly turn away, to the few who are curious enough to ask he stops and talks to them about his time in India and how he came to England and eventually to Hogwarts. Eventually once the curiosity has died down, Harold starts upon the search for the few odds and ends items he still needs to have the materials he will need, having taking stock earlier in the day and learning that despite the generous funds he had received he still need to gather a few more materials before classes start. This does take some time as Harold goes back and forth in the rows of merchandise occasional picking up items and inspecting them, this process is further lengthened by the fact that he apparently was looking for items of the utmost quality; he even spent around fifteen minutes looking for just the right Quills. Eventually however with most of his purchases found Harold walks over to the Owls leaning heavily on his walking staff he inspects the Snowy owls before deciding on two.
Which he in memory of his homeland affectionately names India and Pakistan. As he walks along Harold seeing some of the more nervous students goes to them and whispers his plan for the first day, then once finished he brings his finger to his lips and tells them not to tell, as though he had told them a far more important secret than his class plans. After paying and shaking off offers of assistance insisting that even though he was older than other professors he wasn’t old enough to where he couldn’t handle walking on his own… at least yet.![]()

Viktor, Head of the Department for the Control and Regulation of Magical Creatures, walked into the store with his usual stern and blunt expressions. He gazed around the place; noticing students even a Hogwarts Professor nearby. Viktor quietly walks to where the owls were and examines what they had in stock. His eyes then notice a Barn Owl in a cage nearby. Though Viktor had a rather blunt attitude...he had a soft spot for fascinating animals. He watches the Barn Owl follow him with her eyes. Viktor shows a rare smile and buys the Barn Owl, calling her Ivonne which meant Yew Tree.
Viktor then notices a stock of brooms nearby. He would need a new one since his old Comet 140 was destroyed due to...certain events. He examines the nearby stocks and looks around at them. He blinks at the sight of a Firebolt! The Wizard picked it up and examined its fine craftsmanship and design. It was indeed freshly made. He gripped it firmly and nodded silently in approval. But it would have to wait...so Viktor left to purchase the owl and leave.

Weatherby Wiggins browsed the wares of Dervish and Banges, eying many of the goods hungrily (and some quite literally, seeing a plate of Pumpkin Pasties behind the counter). He lingered at length over the pets section, rubbing the necks of several cats and tickling the beaks of some of the owls. Animals had free reign home at the Nest - numerous birds wintered in the shelter of the tall rafters, and a number of cats passed through the yards, looking for a quick meal (and perhaps a plate of milk left by the animal-loving Weatherby).
Unforunately, the family income was stilted at the moment, and there was no money to be spared on the luxury of an animal for his own, so he moved away from the creatures, his mouth a slanted line. After trying on some of the uniforms, he found one that fit well and purchased it at the register. As he left the store, he noticed the brooms propped up along one wall - he didn't even allow himself to admire the beautiful things, knowing that owning one was a dream at best for the moment.
-20 Galleons
Gellert entered the shop, he needed a owl now that he was going to work as an Auror. He used to have an owl a couple of years ago but it perished during an experiment with some dark magic in Romania and since he had been secluded for years after thatthere really hadn't been a need for an owl, looking around in the shop he saw some kids gaping over the latest of the brooms and chuckled to himself, he would never waste any money on something like that since why would he want to travel in such an indiscreet and slow manner when he could just transform into a eagle? Looking around some more he noticed a black owl and was immediately interesting seeing how graceful it was, it looked quite tough as well. Gellert then walked over taking the cage with the owl and after checking its gender on the tag decided to name it Arnold, he then paid and exited the shop.

Arthur, who had always had a love for cats, came in to see about buying one. Eventually he settled on a gigantic but under one year old American Longhair kitten. Then he saw a beautiful Eurasian Eagle-Owl and had to have it. He bought both, naming the cat 'Jefferson' and the Owl 'Ivan'.

Godfrey apparates outside the store and comes in hoping to speak to the shop keeper.
Godfrey goes up to the counter and rings the bell after several minutes of waiting with no service.
Seeing an Eurasian Eagle-Owl that had a very bright spark of intellegance in his eyes, or seemed to at least, Godfrey knew what to buy.

An owl arrives for an order. The order reads for the purchase of one Firebolt. The shopkeeper gets the money and ties the broom to two other owls along with Ivonne as they fly away
