A teacher and two of his students were killed when a man opened fire on parents and children waiting outside a school in Toulouse.
French television reports that several others were badly wounded in the incident.

The incident took place at a Jewish school called Ozar Hatorah in the Joliment area of the city.
Witnesses say the man fled the scene on a black and white scooter following the incident.
According to a preliminary investigation, the man opened fire with an automatic pistol before switching to another when it misfired.

French police say the first automatic weapon employed had a caliber of 11.43, the same as the gun used to kill three French soldiers in the area last week.
A motorcyclist gunned down two paratroopers by a bank machine on Thursday in the nearby town of Montauban. In a similar incident four days earlier, a gunman on a motorcycle shot dead another paratrooper in Toulouse.

French Interior Minister Claude Gueant has ordered security to be stepped up around all French Jewish schools in response to the incident. He is due to arrive in the city to visit the scene of the shooting.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise in Europe, both from nazis and from the increasing amount of extremist Muslims.

Is there really a rise in the number of Nazis? Sure there has been more right wing parties gaining prominence, but that's most against immigration that comes from Muslim countries.

Yep in certain countries, however the main reason that anti-semitism is increasing are because of the immigration of Arab Muslims. We'll know when and if French police arrestst the person(s) responsible for this. Whether it turns out to be a Muslims extremists or a right wing one isn't really as important IMO. As long as they catch the perpetrator.

How about "Christian Radical white supremacist"?

If the perpetrator of a hate crime is of middle-eastern origin he is automatically branded as islamist; it simply follows that if he is from a western culture he should be automatically a Christian Not that this matters for the usual crowd here. Since the victims were "Jews" and "Western Soldiers", case closed. No matter that the "Western Soldiers" were incidentally black/of arab origin and that the people who killed most Jews in history were (or professed to be) Christians.

Or it would benefit them if it turns out to be an Islamist, however it's too early to tell and right now it could be either a right wing extremist or a Islamist extremist. It's horrible for the parents who have lost their children either way and I certainly hope that the French police catches this whack job as soon as possible.
