    Default Bankrupcy Problem

I was playing the British in the Coalition campaigns. The game seems to be a little one sided when it comes to Bankrupcy. I could not build up my fleet or armies like the other regions were doing since I was continually being told I was out of money due to bankrupcy. Even tried to construct farms and buildings first to generate funds but then was overwhelmed my massive armies from the other regions who were continually building fleets and armies while I was building structures. I was totally outnumberd by massive armies and only played about 20 turns. Even their fleets were a lot larger. Problem was I could not build armies or ships. Guess the bankrupcy thing is only for the human player because it sure did not effect the computer AI for the other regions. Without being able to build forces there was no way I could even attempt to win the game. If someone has any suggestions I would sure appreciate them. Would like to at least have a fighting chance and not have armies and fleets completely overwhelm me after 20 turns of play because I could not keep up with the building of armies and fleets. You have to be able to take real estate and for that you need troops and ships. Got to laugh, was wiped out after 20 turns of play. Never even had a chance to get started due to the bankrupcy thing.

What difficulty level were you on? On normal at least, building a powerful economy is quite easy in NTW. The first thing you should do (especially as Britain) is to build a bunch of tradeships and send them to the trade nodes NW of the British Isles. That'll get you a nice & stable extra income. Then concentrate on building farms, mines, factories, etc. Once your economy is purring along, THEN you start building up your military and go on a rampage in Europe.

I am on normal mode. The French Fleet has three to my one ship and at least three times the army and this was in 20 game plays. Same for Spain. I did first put all my funds into building. I was able to destroy his first wave of troops 3000 to my 2100 on the English mainland but France sent in another army of 5000 next turn. I then used all my funds to build armies for a defense of that wave. Now I am bankrupt again. So by the next move I have lost the game. Will not be able to fend off the massive French army. And this is all in 20 game moves. Didn't even have a chance to get anything going.

Holy crap. Are you saying the AI performed an amphibious landing? Amazing.
I would probably just start a new campaign and take antreds advice.

Yep they did two of them. Still can't figure out how they were able to have so many soldiers in just 20 game moves unless the AI does not have to deal with the bankrupcy issue. In either case started a new game now playing Austria. Still though I am early in that game and the French have a massive army already. I have already fended off two attacks already and was outnumber in both fights . Got by on some good tactical moves on the battlefield . Seems I am the only one that gets attacked too. Maybe it is because I am not playing the Vanilla NTW. I use the DarthMod which gives 2x the troops per unit and allows 40 plus units per army or Fleet. Makes for some massive battles of 5000 or greater troops on both sides. I know how to play am not new to the series. Have played Empire Total War for some time. In either case it just seems odd that the computer AI controlled countries can have so many troops and ships so early in the game when I am struggling to just build a few troops at a time and stay away from the bankrupt curse.

Did you use your frigates to raid the frog ports? If you do this each turn they can't build anymore ships.
