Slytherins tend to be ambitious, shrewd, cunning, strong leaders, and achievement-oriented. They also have highly developed senses of self-preservation. This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes before deciding exactly what should be done. The Slytherin common room is found in the dungeons of Hogwarts Castle, under the Dark Lake.

Atticus entered the common room, having descended into the dungeons carefully so as not to slip on any of the steep staircases. The air was cooler down here. Access to the room was simply, really, all you had to do was find the right door. Atticus stumbled into the dimly lit room. Two corridors to either side indicated the girl and boys dorms respectively. The common area was filled with chairs of all sorts and a large fireplace. The dim green tint of the lake filed the area with a pale light. Atticus grabbed his Transfiguration textbook, the first class he would head out to tomorrow, and began perusing it.

After the sorting William followed Atticus and descended into the dungeons and entered the Slytherin common room. The room was dimly lite it took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust, once they did he saw a large room filled with chairs of all shapes and sizes, among other things, and a large fire place that dominated the room. He looked over to the girl dorms and then to the boys dorms. He then took a seat not knowing which room would be his.

Sidious barged in the common room and not succeeding to control him self any more yelled:

DAMN AND BLAST!!!

He sat across the table from William and only then noticed that he was there. Sidious lowered his eyes in shame that he was so inelegant before his fellow Slytherin house member.

I apologise, I didn't see you there just now...

Regis, who had been snoozing on Atticu's lap, looked up indignantly and hissed at the noise.

Right then the top bunk by the cabinet is mine. Ou and watch out, my Gina is a sneaky one "Aren't you? Aren't you?", and a few neighbourhood cats and small pets where found well, not very vigorous, "And if you keep getting out on your own I will have to put a ward on your terrarium, yes I will".

He said as he continued to play with his loving pet.

William looked at Sidious with a small grin "No big deal we all get angry some of are just better at keeping it bottled up." He then got up and walked toward Atticus "Want to draw straws or maybe play a game of crads for it?"

No, not really. My junk's already on the bed. I'd say that's fair squatter's rights.

"Ok fair is fair." William then looked over all the beds "Ok, I call that one." William points to the bed next to the window bed, He then begins to put his stuf in place.

As William was off getting his things collected, Atticus sprinted up to Sidious.

Look, not a word, okay? I don't know how the professors would take it if they knew I was skirting off around the boundaries at odd hours by myself or collecting things, but I don't want to be told I can't do it.

Nothing, Sidious just thinks he forgot something upstairs.

Well a few things come to mind, a bag of "modified" dragon dung from the green house, the hole in the Gryffindor tower and a well placed Wingardium Leviosa spell.
