Press Release : New Rome: Total War Expack Release Date

SEGA has announced that they are have almost completed work on a new expansion for Rome: Total War. The expansion, to be called Rome: Total War - Alexander, is the second expansion pack for the award-winning game, Rome: Total War.
Rome: Total War - Alexander will feature the campaigns of Alexander in Greece and Macedonia as well as allowing players to expand their empire as far as Persia and India.
New units from Central Asia will be included in the game and overall 25 new units will be included in the game, including Alexander's elite troops. Six new factions can be expected, including Macedonians, Persians, and Indians. Six new battles will also be included in the expansion.
Available only by digital download, the expansion's retail price will be US $18.95. The game will be released June 18, 2006 and can be purchased on Sega.com and Totalwar.com.

But yes, 4 factions is mostly what I've seen aswell.

Me too, i also regestired, and hardly get any updates. But i am not really bothered about being able to get Alex 2 days eariler that non subscribers, i am waiting for mods for it first, and have plenty of things to do for another 3 weeks.

I've just had an email from Total War with a link that will allow me to buy the expansion for £8.50, tomorrow (Friday 16th) at 5:00pm (I'm assuming BST).
So , I'm counting my pennies and polishing my greaves ready.![]()
