Hi Lordz, in the SP campaign I was somewhat disappointed to see that when playing as Austria I captured Bavaria, I was unable to raise Bavarian troops in Munich. I know you guys have worked hard on the area of AoR's but to me capturing a small state is, in TW terms, like forcing a treaty on them, part of which would oblige them to raise an army. During these wars several of the German states like Bavaria, Saxony and others changed sides. I'd like to see this option open for almost all the small German buffer states along the Rhine, perhaps even all the minor powers.

I agree, I'm playing a campaign as the Austrians and was a bit disappointed myself that my Bavarian allies would not furnish me with any troops

There was not enough time to add recruit able units for the coalition factions but this is an item that I will try to incorporate into the v4 patch. Right now I'm focused on trying to make the v4 SPC mod more stable for the players running it on 64 bit operating systems. It seams that some of the campaign map improvements made to ports, roads, forts and town buildings do not make for stable game play on the 64 bit OS.

The Great War mod has made significant changes to the campaign game but also has some of these same issues as they've noted: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...LEASE-READ!!!)

Working on the v4 patch for the campaign game. Made some improvements to the British faction:

Added the Foot Guards to the British recruitment roster.

Revised the scripting mission so the British are tasked with taking Hannover instead of Brittany:

After the British occupy Hannover they are able to recruit Brunswick and Hannover units for service under the British crown:

An interesting turn of events while testing the new changes, the King of England had an untimely passing but was quickly replaced:

Looks like William IV started his reign a little early in this campaign game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William...United_Kingdom

I'm enjoying this great mod. Currently playing as Britain and I've set campaign difficulty at very hard, battle difficulty at hard. Nearing the end of 1806 anf campaign seems for now to be rather easy for Britain. I think new objectives should be set for completion of British campaign so it becomes challenging. I mean awesome infantry and navy, closeness to trade nodes, isolated.

Great to see that the new morale system from v4.0 is now in. I think it will make a big (positive) difference to the MP campaign.

I want to suggest some changes, but I know it will cause work, not all of which I can do myself. Perhaps I will post something on the Lordz forum.

Pleased to see the V4 patch being worked on already. Will German states AoRs allow teh Allies to recruit them locally (Bavaria, Saxony, etc).

Can I suggest that if Britain captures the Netherlands then 1815 style Dutch-Belgian troops can be recruited there? - or are you lacking in 3D models for those/slots to employ them? Dutch-Belgian recruits might be possible for any Allied faction capturing that zone (Prussia?) Perhaps, given the semi-fantasy nature of N:TW, if Prussia captures Hanover, it can recruit Prussian units there (Hanoverian nationals taken into the Prussian army?) Perhaps Brunswickers too so a small Brunswick Corps fights for Prussia? What about small contingents recruitable for Prussia from Oldenburg and Ostfriesland?

I don't know how closely the Lordz want the game to keep to history, but as long as uniforms are historically correct, I like the idea of small contingents from captured states being available in Allied armies; Prussia capturing Saxony, etc.

The AoR system for the Inf_Militia_Prussian_CotR_Landwehr unit will be expanded and include some of Lord Fullin's new Confederation of the Rhine (Rhinebund) units if time permits me to add them.

The British can currently recruit a number of Dutch units when they occupy Holland or Belgium. The uniforms are from the NTW vanilla campaign so I will see if Lord Fullin can do some tailor work on them, (probably after the World Cup is over).

Most of the NTW3 mod uniforms are from the later (1812 and on) coalition wars. We can look at adding some additional units for what if scenarios.

Are there any plans to refit the Saxon Army to the 1809/1810 regulations; replacing the bicorns and etc?

I have previously discussed this issue with Lord Fullin and we will try to correct the hats for the 1805 campaign period when we do the v4 patch. As he lives in Argentina they're all focused on the World Cup match with Germany atm

After reviewing our NTW3 battle AI settings we are recommending that you set the difficulty level to NORMAL. This will give your AI opponent the best setting as they will hold their lines and continue to fire rather than break rank and charge your lines on the higher settings. There's more info posted on our Lordz site: http://http://www.thelordz.org/foru...?f=138&t=15306

Campaign set to High will give you the ultimate challenge as CA hard coded the AI so it's you vs everyone else on the campaign map within a year or two

Battle set to 0 or normal will give the AI the normal morale settings (which have been updated to the NTW3 v4 MP stats in the upcoming patch). The higher battle settings gives the AI a higher morale bonus, this makes the AI more prone to melee and charge your lines with the new v4 patch.

The 40 unit army size is done by making adjustments to the preference file. I will post info on it with the v4 patch release. You can adjust your individual settings for graphics and unit size to accommodate your own PC. The priority of the v4 spc patch was to make it more stable on a 64 bit OS. This will also help make MP Campaign more stable to play (depending on your internet connection).

Hi lord Davn will you be having customed maps able to load into the campaign battle maps in this 4.0 patch...? Also will you have famous historical buildings on the strategy map?
Is it possible to put in buildings at least 1 on the battle map such as a orthodox church when you are fighting in Russia or a gothic style building in Germany..?

Our first priority for the v4 spc patch was to make it more stable for the 64 bit OS and as I am not familiar with the files that load the battle maps we've left that as is with the vanilla maps. The same applies to the buildings on the battle map. The original NTW campaign has historical buildings & monuments that can be built and we may look at adding some more if we do another patch in the future
